The animal that I thought was cool was the prairie dog. I feel like at the beginning they might’ve thought it was a species of mule. The reason why is because they both have holes in the ground, and kind of live in their. They might have noticed it was not a mole because moles usually have screwed up noses, and mouths. Prairie dogs would also pop in and out of the ground, which is another it might not have been considered a mole.

I think that Clark’s flower was prettier. I think the colours on it blend better, than just the pure white of Lewis’ flower. Also I like the fact that there are more petals on lewis’ flower. I’m not sure what people would’ve thought about it when they first seen it, but they must’ve thought it was a nice looking flower.

One reason is because the name is really hard to pronounce. Another reason is because Lewis and Clark did trade with them. This was really cool. Even though they traded with many tribes, this was still a cool place to trade with them because it was on the border with president day Montana, and Canada. At this time not having the boundaries of everywhere mapped out they might’ve thought the parts of Canada they were in were part of the USA, so this could’ve messed with country border, and state boundaries. Another really cool part of their culture was the fact that they held a trade festival with the Mandans, Hidatas, and Crees. During this festival they did what it sounds like, they traded.

Even though most dogs are extremely loyal. I don’t think that many people have a dog that is willing to go on an adventure that long. I understand that dogs like the outside, but dogs are afraid of small insects like mosquitoes. Throughout the entirety of the adventure SeaMan stuck with the group, even after going through all of the torture from the insects. I also think

One of the main reasons is the translation aspect. We already know that Sacagawea knows a lot of different Native American languages, so that would help talking with other people. Another main reason is because like we already know most people wouldn’t attack a group of people if there was a woman in it. This would mean that there would be a lot peace between groups.
