         <description><![CDATA[<div>I found it interesting that someone felt they did not have a racial identity. Also, how the feeling of guilt, shame and entitlement can drive people to something to help others in a way to make up for this guilt. As if they still feel that the group can't help themselves. It is as if they still don't understand fully. Interesting.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I found it interesting that people are aware of their privilege and still choose to not speak up for injustices because they don't want to be seen as over stepping 'boundaries' or feel that it is not their place. The smallest gesture can make an impact, it doesn't always have to be a big grand gesture.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I do feel the discomfort arise as well during conversations around race. When I am able to examine my emotions more closely, however,  I am able to see how self centered this discomfort is--will I say something wrong, will I sound stupid or not "woke" enough, I will offend someone. The reality is that all of these things will probably be true but advancing the conversation about race to ultimately reach solutions is FAR more important than my discomfort. As a white person, I need to be having these conversations.</div>]]></description>
