Epigenetics is the study of chemical modifications made to DNA which affect how genes are expressed and can occur in response to various environmental challenges. These modifications can be passed to future generations.<br>Thus, the external characteristics can change due to these modifications without change in the basic elements that make up the genes. <br>Example:  2 mice with same DNA can have different fur colour due to epigenetic changes! <br>So it's not just the DNA that make us, environmental influences also matters.</div>]]></description>
