The workshops for the Summit are designed to be foster youth-focused, youth-led, and youth-driven. This means the content will prioritize the voices, experiences, and needs of foster youth while providing them with meaningful opportunities to lead and contribute. As a committee member, your role in hosting a workshop includes:

  • Collaborating with other committee members to develop and deliver content.

  • Facilitating discussions or activities during the workshop to engage participants.

  • Providing support to youth presenters to ensure their voices are amplified and their ideas come to life.

you'll help create a space where foster youth feel heard, valued, and inspired.

We encourage you to partner with other committee members for brainstorming and execution. Use your experience and best practices to help plan.
