I get creative when I can, and sometimes require students to draw definitions. Recently, I've had students draw symbols using google draw, but there are some limitations.          <title>I found a link to an app that I didn&#39;t know existed and I am excited to try it.  It is called Science Journal by Google.  It would be great to be able to make my interactive journal in my science classes both digital and on paper.  If I don&#39;t use it this year, I will definitely look into using it next year!

Additionally, when I type letters and emails that need to go home traditional spell check catches basic typos, but doesn't help in cases where I've mis-typed a real word instead of something I meant to say.  Communicating with parents is the most time-consuming part of my job that is not actually teaching kids, so it's good to have any tool that will help me to streamline the process.  </div>]]></description>

I do a lot of screen sharing in class and I look forward to engaging my students with the cursors change. They could even choose the cursor for a class reward.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Dreambox Learning Math<br>https://www.commonsense.org/education/website/dreambox-learning-math<br><br>I love how the lessons are short enough to be warm up activities or exit tickets but are interactive math games you can adapt to your specific age group/students needs. I also really appreciate the focus on understanding math concepts rather than just rote memorization or procedures. <br><br>I would likely use this as a part of a math station and pair it with another activity to be completed in small group stations.</div>]]></description>
