I selected this goal because I have big dreams and ideas of how my classroom and a school should operate. However, that isn't always realistic. By observing and reflecting upon experiences within a classroom, I hope to shift my mindset to a more realistic approach to better prepare myself.

Having cooperative relationships in my community was really important for me as an ag teacher and is something I'm still working to develop in my role in NE (since I'm 3 years new here). :-)

I chose this goal because often times I have a set way of doing things in my head or a set way of thinking and catch myself hearing my peers talk about things in a different way, and it reminds me that things can be done differently.

I chose this goal because empathy isn't a common teacher trait per say, but the best ones always have it. Having personal and real (human) connections with students is a speed-dial to changing and/or impacting somebody's life for the better!!

I chose attain confidence as my goal because often times I can over think about what I am facilitating which makes me lose confidence in my abilities. Losing confidence in myself could have an incredible backlash on my students. I want to maintain a certain level f confidence at all times when i am teaching.

I chose this goal because I have big ideas and goals that I think I can achieve for both the classroom and with FFA. But not all of them might be achievable. I hope to start to think a little more realistic and set more realistic goals that are high but attainable.

Going forward as an educator, I want my students to see me as a positive light in their life. Many students are taking their education day by day and just trying to get by. This can be a very negative way to live. My goal is to be a teacher that my kids want to see on a daily basis and don't dread having to enter my classroom. This positivity can lead to much more successful outcomes in ag education and FFA as a whole.

I selected this goal because I have a huge passion for helping people and expressing myself, but sometimes it doesn't always show as enthusiasm. So being enthusiastic about teaching and helping will better aline with my intentions.

I selected this goal because I want to get to know my students on more than a first name basis. I want them to have a positive relationship with me and know that I can provide them support with whatever they need. I also think it is important that every student feels welcome in my class and like they have a place. These were things that I wanted as a student but did not have. I feel like I would have had a much better experience if I was able to.

I chose establishing cooperative relationships, because I strive for this idea in all people that I meet. Not only do I want a cooperative relationship with coworkers in my future, but also with my future students. This type of relationship can build strong goals and lifetime friendships that can bring on more great things. As a student training to become a teacher, I hope this goal will help me in the future.

I chose this goal because my biggest fear regarding teaching is having the kids question my credibility and say that I don't know what I am talking about. So being more confident in myself and understanding that I am qualified and am supposed to be there will better prepare myself for the future.

I align with this goal the most because I am someone who always needs to have a specific plan. Because teaching can go many different ways, I'll need to be flexible with curriculum and students to allow them to reach their full potential. Planning is crucial, but being okay with it going a different way is also important.

I selected this goal because I need/want to become more confident in myself and the abilities I have. I am a quieter person, who has a lot of passion for the things I want to accomplish. Since I am quieter I tend to doubt my abilities of achieving my goals and as a result I don't try to achieve certain goals because I get too nervous and overthink. With confidence I believe I would be able to accomplish a lot in my life.

I chose to become flexible because I like plans and have set ways to do things. If this doesn't happen, I tend to stress out. Learning to be more flexible will help the classroom flow better and be relaxed. Also realizing that others have different ways and could learn something new.

I selected this goal because at times I have a hard time managing my time management or having a strict schedule that I want to follow. However, I need to work on being flexible and having time for my students to have flexibility throughout their day. Spending more time in my career of ag ed will help me to become more flexible to find a better schedule for my students.

I chose this goal because I like to follow the order of things and get a little flustered when things don't follow the plan but I know that in ag education you sometimes have to be flexible and change plans to make things work.
