Mechanical energy is a mix of energy between either kinetic or potential. Mechanical energy is when the energy is in control of the position it is in and the motion of a position. A example would be a car. This is because the car possesses this type of energy from it's motion because of the vertical position above the ground.

Sound energy is a type of energy that depends on movement of the energy in a substance. Sound energy is produced when a object vibrates and creates movement between a substance. An example would be water waves the air creates movement towards the water causing waves to crash into each other making sound

Chemical Energy is the type of energy that is stored in the bonds of chemical compounds. When the chemical energy is released from a certain substance the substance becomes apart and transforms into a new one. One example would be when the coal in a fire converts into heat and light

Electrical energy is energy that is carried but it has charged particles. This is called electricity. Electricity charges the particles and it eventually builds up into an object due to this it stores the energy and it creates static energy. The charged energy particles move around a little bit more and it creates moving electrical energy. An example would be a light bulb. This is because the light bulb turns into electricity by the thin wire called a filament. The filament's resistance starts to get extremely hot and eventually heats the bulb. This causes the tiny wire/filament to get so hot to the point where it starts to glow and starts to produce light.

Light energy is made from photons. Photons are a molecule that is produced when a object heats up when the light moves into something and it travels in heat waves. Light energy is also electromagnetic and it radiates. A example of light energy is the sun. The sun is extremely hot, so hot to where the point where it produces light.
