It is considered positive the constant analysis and monitoring carried out to the different environmental protection and care actions, for each of the processes and productive activities carried out by the entity.

 

The projects must start, for the decrease in consumption of the inputs most used by the institution, such as electricity, in order to allow a reduction in the different pollutant loads generated by the entity.

 

There is evidence of a constant evaluation and well-documented monitoring by the university in order to verify the degree of compliance with the environmental objectives, for which indicators are compared period by period as defined at the time of its formulation.

The university carries out internal audits to the Environmental Management Component according to those established in the Management Evaluation and Control Process (C-3), with the Integral Audits procedure (P-3-5), whose objective is to perform a systematic, independent and documented evaluation to obtain audit evidence in order to determine the degree of compliance with the regulatory criteria and to determine the conformity of the Environmental Management Component with the provisions planned by the Institution for the care of the environment, the improvement of environmental performance and the requirements of NTC-ISO 14001: 2015, its proper implementation and maintenance.

It is important to emphasize that the university was continuously improving its environmental performance, ensuring that the Environmental Management Component is also improving over time, demonstrating that it is convenient for the operation of the University, is appropriate to their needs and, Everything is effective to achieve the expected results defined by senior management.

The commitment to continuous improvement is evidenced through the establishment of different parameters that need measurement and / or follow-up as follows: Qualitative: through IND-C1-002 indicator. Quantitative: They perform it through the measurements in the Environmental Indicators. With Mixed methodologies: The indicators with mixed methodologies used in the UNAD are related in the Environmental Management Programs.

The nonconformities are reviewed and their causes are determined following the Instructions for the Analysis of Findings (I-1-1-3) and the documented information of the actions taken in the System of Attention to Improvement Actions is maintained. -SSAM, following the provisions of the Instructions for the Registration and Formalization of Improvement Plans (I-1-1-1).

No disagreements are evident, the last one was generated in 2016 and corrected in a timely and efficient manner.
