Schools should be accountable for instructing students to be knowledgeable about the world around them, even when the parents slack off.

Working teens can be a double-edged sword.
Research shows that some teens may get lower grades and even get into trouble with drugs and alcohol as a result of after-school jobs, but for many, the benefits outweigh the potential risks.
Building experience, self-reliance, and important skills are among some of the best benefits many teens see from part-time work, and they’re among the best reasons for teens to get an after-school job.
Parents of teens today know how expensive it can be to have a teenager in the house: electronics, clothes, even a car can all add up to huge bills. Some families can afford these trappings of teen life, but not all can or want to pay for them. When teens take on a part time job, they are better able to contribute to the purchase of these fun teen expenses or completely fund them for themselves.
Sure, kids can learn about personal finance from earning an allowance, but that’s small potatoes. When teens begin to earn their very own dollars, the real lesson begins. As they earn money and subsequently spend it, parents have the opportunity to teach their children about responsible money management.

Understanding how to handle money is an important skill, and I really can't believe that it's not an official subject in school. Money is surely the key to progress in life.
The meaning of going to school is to study in order to succeed in your life and in the future, but all the subjects in school don’t really teach us things for life.
The students need to learn how to manage their lives on their own.
Subjects like Literature or Bible won’t get us to any place in life, In my opinion they should be removed and instead of them teachers should teach economy and money managing.(Your opinion , conclusion or the content could be different. These ideas could be taken into consideration.)

Climate change happens very slowly over 1000’s of years and the biosphere gradually adapts to the different conditions. It is usually caused by the shift of the Earth’s angle to the sun, the timing of our orbit round the sun (the Milankovitch Cycles) and/or changes in solar output, plus numerous other factors. Dramatic changes have been the result of super-volcanic eruptions or cometary impacts but they are mercifully very rare.
The disadvantages these changes bring are many. We are already seeing a slight increase in sea levels, storms are tending to be stronger & more frequent, rainfalls tend to be heavier often causing repeated flooding, heatwaves have been hotter and droughts drier & more prolonged bringing more wildfires.
Some of the heatwaves have been around 50°F hotter than usual, the only reason we haven’t set off the alarm bells is that it is happened in polar regions. 33°F may sound like a chilly day to you but it is a worry when it should be -17°F at that time of the year. Especially as the permafrost is melting and buildings, roads, pipelines and another infrastructure are collapsing.

Most people are scared to purchase electric bikes.
That’s a shame, because electric bikes offer many health and environmental benefits. Since they reduce the physical burden of pedaling, e-bikes make cycling accessible to more people, especially those who have long commutes or health limitations. They can also replace cars or public transportation for some, helping to reduce overall emissions in a city.
People sometimes think that electric bikes are for people who don’t want to exercise, but the exact opposite is true.
People get electric bikes (and not a scooter or motorcycle) specifically because they want to exercise more and be more active.
The electric bikes make riding accessible for the 99% of the population who are not regular cyclists already.
For some people, it’s the fear of hills or going away far and not being able to come back easily that keeps them from cycling. For others, it’s the health limitations, age or athletic ability. For many people who are thinking about commuting, it’s the inconvenience of arriving to their destination sweaty.

The internet since being invented, have experienced many improvements.
The mass media have a powerful influence in shaping our lives. We have come to depend on them for information and entertainment, and in doing so we let them affect important aspects of our lives.
The undeniable usefulness of the media in almost instantly providing information about events around the world is largely taken for granted. But in our dependence on the media, we have allowed them to mound our notions and opinions of events, places and people. Though few of us probably think about it, our conceptions of, say, our elected officials spring from television images and newspaper stories. Most of us will never meet prime ministers or presidents, but anyone who is regularly exposed to the media will have an opinion of them.
The media are also influential in the way they facilitate the spread of culture and lifestyle. The so-called 'global youth culture', in which one finds young people around the world displaying a common interest in music, clothing styles and films, is an example of the media's enormous sway in this regard. A popular figure such as Michael Jackson would never be so well known were it not for the media's extensive reach into every society on the globe.
I would argue that the mass media's influence is certainly great. Indeed, technological advancements, such as the Internet, is bringing more forms of electronic media to our homes and workplaces. It is likely that the media's influence will grow even stronger with the passage of time.

כרגע באתר 68 מבקרים |

Whether it's a horse, fish, dog, or pig, how do you feel knowing that hundreds of these animals are being killed every day for people to eat?
Do you feel strongly about it, and want to make a difference, or do you only care about how good the meat tastes?
It's hard to give up something you've been eating your whole life, but if you take baby steps to your final conclusion- becoming a vegetarian- it will make a huge difference.
The reason that probably applies the most to you is that, contrary to popular belief, vegetarians are a lot healthier than carnivores.
The amounts of meat products that have been recalled in just the past year are vast. If you have a soft spot for animals, I think you might think twice about eating them after you hear how they are treated on large farms.
Hopefully this makes you stop and think twice about eating meat.

Any parent knows that young children are filled with energy, eager to run, jump and play. Transferring that natural energy to competitive sports can help keep kids active and healthy as the grow, and other distractions increase that may lead to a more sedentary lifestyle. Competitive sports such as soccer, track, basketball and swimming can also help kids learn important life lessons about teamwork and fair play.
Kids who are active in school sports are fitter, have healthier body weights and are more confident. Participation in school sports provides a sense of belonging and being part of a team or group. You interact with your peers in a friendly manner. You learn to consider the interests of your teammates and to practice mutual respect and cooperation. You work together, share time and other resources, take turns to play and learn to cope with success and failure as a team. These interactions facilitate bonding and lasting friendships with your schoolmates, which can help make children more sociable and outgoing as they grow.
