There is a well-known missing person case, Madeleine McCann. She disappeared on May 3, 2007, at the age of three from a vacation apartment while her parents were dining at a restaurant nearby. Madeleine was in the room with her two siblings. The case gained international attention and led to many theories.

One theory suggests that a German citizen who was active in Portugal kidnapped Madeleine. He was also in the area at the time and had previously committed several crimes.

I have watched this documentary multiple times and have been following the case for a long time. What made me interested in following the case is that I also have a theory. My theory is that the parents behave very strangely in interviews—their body language is unusual. They often laugh in interviews when questions are asked that should make them look suspicious, as if they noticed something. The laughing shows that they could be lying and trying to manipulate.

On one hand, they said they checked on the children every 30 minutes at night. It could be that one of the parents made her disappear while doing the routine check. However, another suspect could be Christian B. He had previously committed burglaries.

But if he had been watching the house that day, he must have noticed that the parents always went inside every 20 minutes. That would make it unlikely that he chose that exact day.

We are responsible because we pollute the seas and oceans with plastic and glass. Animals get injured by the glass, suffocate from the plastic, or unintentionally ingest the plastic while searching for food.

It’s strange because we humans want to consume animal products, yet we are doing harm to animals and ourselves. The knowledge that many animals are threatened by human actions is what motivated me to choose this topic. I have observed that there are far fewer butterflies now than in the past because they react strongly to changes like climate change. As temperatures rise in spring, they hatch faster but can’t find enough food, which leads to their decline and death.

Another reason I chose this topic is a visit to the zoo. The way animals are kept in zoos can lead to psychological and physical health issues. This kind of captivity can make reproduction difficult, which is why they are also threatened with extinction.

The talk aims to raise awareness about how the protection of creative works is disappearing in the artistic market. AI is created and programmed in such a way that it steals everything from artists—music, texts, and more. Artists do not distribute their work themselves; instead, AI takes their art.

AI steals their creativity and generates new texts, images, and songs from it. The problem is that most artists are unaware of this, and AI companies earn much more money than the actual artists.

I chose this text because it addresses a clear and important topic. For example, AI and data theft (privacy). AI processes large amounts of data, which can lead to personal data being collected and people being endangered.

Another point is the loss of jobs. If AI is used in companies, it replaces many workers because AI is capable of doing everything. The same thing has happened with the artists in the video. They no longer get proper work because AI generates their texts instead of them.
