If a district is concerned that parents will have strong feelings about religious source material, is there a consolidated list of all lessons using religious source material? This could be useful to ease parent concerns about one religion being favored over another or to anticipate when parents may want to opt their child out of certain lessons (TEC, §26.010)

I would like to explore more on the writing for RLA K-5 and the explicit teaching of writing from sentence development to paragraph development to essay development. Is that a comprehensive writing program using common vocabulary and graphic organizers so that each year builds upon the last one and students have consistency in instruction.

I am in awe of this material being a full guide on how to conduct this lesson. It lays out all the teacher moves from what to prep to what to say and even how to extend it if needed. Once teachers truly understand the set up, its going to be a great thing to see students learn in real time.
