Skill: Vocabulary

Overview: The material uses a crossword puzzle format. It includes 2 pages , each with 8 questions where wild life related vocabulary are given in a form of riddles. Each crossword puzzle is created to be completed in 10 minutes.

You will be testing various English language materials to help us evaluate their effectiveness.

Unit: 7 (Journeys)

Skill: Reading

Overview: them. The word search puzzle consists of 4 sections which portray some of vocabulary or words that are related to the Journeys, Travelers, Gadgets, and Fashion. Next, every student is given 5 lives to survive while the game is conducted. They have been provided 10 minutes in total to complete the 4 sections of the game.

Skill: Vocabulary

Overview: Students will have to match the words to their antonyms.

Skill: Grammar

Overview: Students will have to decide whether the sentence given is grammatically correct or wrong and then determine what tenses should the sentence be in.

Skill: Reading

Overview: Students go through a series of clues and riddles under the horror theme to "escape" a made-up scenario that puts their fact/fiction distinguishing abilities to the

test. Students will have to explore the house and answer the riddles to escape.

Skill: Vocabulary

Overview: Students will have to read the infographic and match the places in Penang to its description.

Skill: Listening

Overview: Students will have to select the correct answer for each question based on the video they have watched. This game is simple because the answers has been provided, hints can be accessed through 3 options; the 50/50, asking the audience and calling for a help, akin to the real life show.

Skill: Vocabulary

Overview: Students will have to answer the questions asked to progress in the game. There will be four sections that contain different sets of questions. In section one, students need to guess the meaning of a word that will be given. In section 2, they need to pick one letter out of three to complete the spelling of a word. While in section 3, students again have to choose an explanation that defines the word that will be given in the question like section 2. Lastly, in the last section, students need to choose a picture that describes the word written above the picture.

Skill: Grammar

Overview: Students will have to rearrange the words to create sentences with the the correct use of the future tense.

Overview: This interactive exercise, consisting of five questions, prompts students to

order words to form correct superlative sentences. Students have to rearrange the words to form grammatically correct sentences.

Overview: Students are required to complete all questions based on three different types of test questions which are multiple choice questions, true or

false questions, and typing test questions.
