Scarlett and her family set a precedent in terms of the right of access to education for people with disabilities. I am glad to know that there are laws to make sure everyone has equal opportunities to thrive in life.
The school should have assessed Scarlet's needs and made adjustments to match her needs the best they could, and not refuse the enrollment without evaluation.
