There's several different types of play including; Active, make believe, creative, unoccupied, onlooker, parallel, etc. 

In my opinion, play is important and should be incorporated into learning because play gives kids a chance to be creative and use different skills. Play also allows kids to play in groups, resolve conflicts, etc. All of these things are necessary for learning.

3. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say I am at about an 8 in terms of how strongly I feel about whether play should be integrated into learning. I absolutely think it should be. When learning is fun, it is easier! Children can learn so much through play with others and teaches them a lot on their own that is hard to teach in a classroom. For example, through play children learn social skills, they learn developmental things like problem solving, they learn how to share, how to fail, etc. I would say I am an 8 because as important as it is to have play in education, I don't think it should be solely based on play. For children playing is fun and easy and ultimately comes naturally to a child.
