I learned that anti-federalists weren't bad people, they just didn't agree with the constitution, that the federalists had certain ideas that were far fetched, they didn't have it perfect from the beginning, and that the federalist papers are a lot more important that I thought.

two facts from the reading are that there are 27 amendments that have been added and it's been in place for over 200 years.

One question I have is how did the federalists not lose hope for their constitution after so long of fighting for it to no avail.

Three things I learned from the reading are that there are 10 Bill of Rights, and James Madison was elected to congress from Virginia. I also learned that John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton wrote the federalist papers. Two things I found interesting were that a few days after the Constitution was signed New York newspapers began to attack it, and it was interesting that Hamilton favored a central government stronger than the one outlined in the Constitution. A question I have is why didn’t the Constitution outlaw slavery?

First thing I learned was that writers of the Federalist papers used Roman pen names, like Publius or Brutus.

The second thing I learned was that at first, Hamilton didn’t agree on the constitution having a bill of rights, stating that the national government wouldn’t take away said rights.

The third thing I learned was that the Constitution had power above both state and people, making it a federal and national government.

One interesting fact I learned was that a larger republic nation would prevent any special interests on taking over the country, instead balancing out each other.

Another fact I learned was that Hamilton opted for a more stronger and central government then we have today, but he still supported the Constitution as a better alternative to the Articles of Confederation.

One question I have about is why didn’t the Constitution give women the right to vote in the beginning?
