Venezuela is in a financial and economic crisis. Although countries are willing to help, they are not letting anything into their border. Everything is blocked off in some way. The USA has sent food and medicine. The food is enough to feed thousands of people.

In this situation, I believe that the benefits outweigh the cost. Hopefully the president will come around and see that the country needs aid. If there was no aid coming, the situation could get worse.

I am connected to the story because the USA, the country I live in, is sending aid. Mark Zuckerburg declined, which proved to be a great move because he is now one of the most wealthy people in the world. Facebook also faced backlash for a lot of things like advertising and privacy. Because they are one of the first social media apps, it was hard for them to figure out how to protect everyones privacy.

Facebook allowed people to connect with their friends and family. This actually helped others connect with people across the world. It did hurt with privacy though, because people from all over the world could hack your profile. People can argue either way in this instance, but people who have grown up with social media like me are probably ok with it because we've been tracked since we were born.

I am connected to the story because I've grown up with social media. Because I have accounts on so many platforms, I can get in touch with so many people. This will be the second time they meet. Nothing much came out of their last meeting. The US wants North Korea to stop their nuclear tests and want the South and North Korea war to end. For this situation, it is hard to know what the right answer is. If things go well during this meeting, then we may have stopped a war and might be saving other countries. But if things don't go well, a war could still go on and dangerous nuclear tests could hurt people.

How are you connected to the story? 
I am connected to the story because this meeting could help my safety. Although I am not involved in the war between south and North Korea, nuclear weapons can hurt the US. Thankfully, wee have the technology to see if something was coming for us, but it's still scary. That's what they are working on at the Delta Test Facility in Atlanta, Georgia. They are making the engines strong enough to take the heat if another blows out. The engines weigh several tons and the doors weigh several tons too in the facility.

In this instance, there aren't very many "costs". Yes the materials can be expensive, but they are making them for our safety. They also test these engines constantly before they are put into the air. Because the benefit out of this is making sure a plane doesn't crash, the benefits definitely outweigh the costs.

I am connected to the story because I will be riding on one of these planes with this engine eventually. The odds are even higher because I live in Atlanta where these engines are being made. People are struggling to find clean water. Black goop is running through most of the taps in peoples homes so they have to venture out to the streets. Water has become a luxury. Citizens say that they can't do much without the water because it is used for so much.

Because Venezuela hasn't been letting much our aid come through, it's hard to answer this question. Without globalization, they wouldn't even have the chance to get our aid and possibly get water from us. The cost is that people are being withheld resources.

I am connected to the story because although I don't live in Venezuela, I need clean water too. Our water isn't sourced from Venezuela, but if our water became black there would be massive panic like there is there right now. We helped the Syrian government defeat them. ISIS still remains a threat, but their population has gone down immensely. It used to be at 8 million people. There are sometimes attacks, but they are on a smaller scale. Although we may have defeated them, the war caused a lot of damage.

I think that if the US hadn't helped Syria in this instance, it would've been worse. By having better technology and more troops, we probably saved a lot more lives than they could've. This war probably would've gone on for longer without globalization.

I am connected to the story because my country has helped defeat a big threat. Although ISIS doesn't exist in the USA, if it had continued to get bigger and spread on a wider scale, that could've been a threat to us. Russia has been loaning Venezuela billions of dollars in the past years. The US doesn't like this. Russia also has troops there as well. US and Russia don't agree on who the true president is, which is the source of this problem.

At this point, we don't really know what the cost is of Russia coming to Venezuela. Because of all the money they loaned and the state they're in they could try to take over. It might've been better if we would have let Venezuela deal with their own issues instead of another two countries who have issues with one another stepping in.

My country is supplying aid to Venezuela. We are also trying to help solve their conflict. The costs can definitely hurt us in this instance. Because of the technology that copyrights movies and makes sure that no one is uploading things illegally, it could hurt people that are just uploading a picture of the movie. This could especially hurt youtube because there are thousands of videos uploaded every day.

Like they said in CNN10, although it is the EU trying to work on this, it could affect the rest of the world. Youtube is is just one site; there aren't different ones for each country. The current one is being charged with crime and facing backlash. There are lots of protests about this. There are 40 political parties running in Israel. The other running minister has said that he doesn't think someone should be able to run while facing charges.

Because this election has been going on and wee have social media and the internet, people are going to find things out quickly. This could cause people to change their opinion if they find something out. Or the prime  ministers could use it to their advantage.

Although I don't live in Israel, I have been in the middle of an election. Tensions rise high because everyone wants their opinion to be heard. I think it's good that the US is stepping into this. We're helping a lot of people from being hurt by this branch of the government. Because we've now decided to prosecute anyone with association to this branch, it will help the branch be shut down.

I am connected to the story because it's my country that has decided to name this group as a terrorist group. We are also trying to stop the group by telling everyone to stop funding this part of the government.
