  • 한 영문학 장르(Gothic Literature)의 일반적인 특징과 역사를 설명할 뿐만 아니라, 이 장르에 속하는 여러 작품(Frankenstein, Dracula)을 탐구하고 있다. 덕분에 1학기 때 들었던 19세기 미국문학에 대한 강의보다 영문학 작품을 직접 연구하는 느낌이 들어 좋았다.  
  • 영문학에 관한 용어를 사전형식으로 나열하고 강의에서도 그런 용어를 쉽게 설명하고 있어 평소에도 영문학에 대한 배경지식을 쌓는데 큰 도움이 되었다.

단점
  • 강의 내용이 조금 짧다는 생각이 들었지만, 영상과 더불어 글로 된 자료, 혹은 영문학을 공부하는 데에 있어서 효과적인 방법을 제시하고 있어 조사하는 데에는 큰 문제가 없었다.
