Teenage insecurities
When subjected to a survey, it was found out that 78% of teenagers see themselves either as an engineer, doctor or lawyer in 15 years. But when asked that what they want to be doing in 15 years, 78% of teenagers surveyed said that they would be doing something else. Because of the norms society has created, teens and young adults look to have one of these jobs. We live in a world where job security has more priority than passion and dreams are taught to be an unobtainable, unreasonable and unrealistic imagination, rather than a future you could be living. In another survey done in a school, most students replied that they go to school for an education, they want an education to be successful, and they want their kids to do the same. Most students lack the passion and ambition to go to school. Teenagers are insecure in sharing their dreams, and insecure of pursuing them, in fear of being ridiculed or failing. They don’t feel comfortable talking about the person they aspire to be.

Multiple accomplished people were asked how they succeeded in their fields and here are their answers. When one is doing a certain commercial activity, they should not do it for the money. To become a millionaire, one has to serve others and come up with brilliant ideas. In addition, you have to be a hard-working person who is ready to be busy and practice a huge amount. Furthermore, focusing on one major task is significant to excelling in the field. On top of that, never have self doubt even though one has gone through numerous failures. Although you may not be able to push yourself, mentally and physically, you should have people around you ready to do so. Lastly, always believe that your activity is a privilege no matter what.

Hyperloop transportation technology or hyperloop tt provides ground transport at the speed of airplanes. It uses electromagnetic propulsion and accelerates the trains into a low pressure tube. This train was showcased in Expo 2020 and people can experience a ride simulation.

According to a study, lack of self-esteem, self-belief, and self-fulfilment are some of the most serious issues teens encounter. Some individuals think that the community has highlighted particular jobs through means such as social platforms, schooling and household. According to the survey conducted, instead of pursuing their goals or dreams, almost 78% of youngsters gravitate toward the top three professions: doctors, lawyers, and engineers. Nevertheless, when asked what they would do if they could do anything for the next fifteen years, around 78% of teenagers change their answers. In the results of a different poll, it was found that the majority of teenagers believe that success requires a good education. It was a trend that aspirations and passion is set aside. Lastly, a lot of teenagers are not comfortable talking about their visions and goals with their parents.

These are the ways people mentioned to become successful. Many stated you must have people around you to push you and make you belive in you. Some even stated that you must follow your passion and what you enjoy and money and success will always follow, you should only focus on one objective, thinking about many gets you confused and leaves you in nowhere.

After interviewing 500 different successful people, Richard St. John summaries points about what made people successful. Firstly passion is what drives people to work hard and that’s what they earn money on. TEDesters do it for love and not money. Secondly mostly of them believe in hard work. If you have not worked hard, you will not achieve what you aim to achieve, nothing comes easily. Furthermore something they believe in is good. This means that they get so good at what they do that they are the best at their field of work. There is no magic, its practice practice and practice. Moreover they rae also very focused on their aim and goal as well as what they want to achieve. Lastly push. Push yourself to your limit and be the best at what you do, physically and mentally. Lastly you should always work on yourself as well as believe in yourself.

Passion is the motivation to achieve something which is where everything starts. Along with passion to achieve certain goals hard work is another element that leads to success since no success comes overnight. Focus is highly required to be on one direction and follow a certain path that leads to success. Persistence is not letting oppositions or difficulties take you away from the path of success. Ideas require a considerable amount of effort to be good at a certain task you want to achieve. Thus pushing your self to be the best version of your self and working smartly is another key element. Lastly serving towards your goals is again extremely crucial. These are the 8 stepping stones to success.

I didn’t feel the best not being able to give her an answer, so when I got of the plane, and reached Ted, I made it my mission to find out what leads to success. After 7 years and 500+ interviews, I have finally found the few select components that lead to success. The first being passion. Tedsters said that the do it because its what they enjoy doing, not because its what yield them money. Surprisingly, if you work for love, then the money comes as a by-product. Hard work. Nothing is easy, but you’re going to have fun putting the work in. Good. To be successful you have to practice something until you’re one of the best at it. Focus. To begin with , he thinks passion plays a very vital role to be successful at anything. According to him he thinks passions is something one does with his or her whole heart. Secondly without hard work one will not be able to achieve and accomplish his or her goals of being successful. Furthermore focusing on one thing by continuously practicing one task can allow one to master it . In addition Richard St. John believes that one should not only practice pushing yourself regularly but also to learn how to accept failure To conclude Richard recommends to have faith in yourself and even work hard towards your own ideas

Richard St. John talks about the secret to success after seven years of research and 500 interviews. He speaks about this topic because he felt miserable when he could not answer the question of a high school student. To begin with, the first secret to success, according to him is passion. He believes that TEDsters do it for love and not for money. Moreover, another thing that leads to success is work and focus These are essential for success. Furthermore, To follow the path of success, Richarch states that you need to push yourself to do something. In addition, another secret is ideas, without influential ideas you won’t be able to be successful. Finally, he also thinks that persistence is the number one secret for our success."

As he said 8 percent didnt know what to do. the other 78 percent found themselves choosing one of three occupations ( a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer). This was because of the norms the society has created. This number was changed when the question was reframed. The 8 percent of the people who didnt what to do started to think what could they be. the 78 percent of people change their descision. Morever 46 percent of teenagers dont feel their worth. Due to this the statistical figures depict that doubting yourself and knowing your value leads to teenagers choosing job security over passion which could test for their full potential

LEDc’s and MEDc’s. Get ready to hear those words on loop for the next five minutes, ‘cause that’s my topic. What are these? Well together they form a global method of dividing countries into two categories: Less Economically Developed and More Economically Developed countries.

Well, how to tell which country lies in which categories, and what can one determine by knowing the band a country lies in? For one, MEDc’s normally have a much better standard of living and average salaries are higher in such countries, whereas it’s the opposite in LEDc’s. LEDc’s are prone to have a worse standard of living and salaries are usually extreme with a bad average. MEDc’s also have better infrastructure and better quality production of products, whereas LEDc’s have poor infrastructure and usually are the ones who produce raw materials, which are sold at extremely low prices. Even due to low selling prices, the export of raw materials is an LEDc’s most employing and the biggest contributor to the economy.

This is seen in our country too, which is an LEDc. We may have a good economy but we do have a dismal nominal GDP and GDP per capita. We also do sell raw materials in the agricultural sector. And do have a poor infrastructure in rural areas. India has all these issues and more which can be observed in all LEDc’s. WE have poor healthcare due to poverty and bad infra. We have high crime rates, with the leading cause being desperation, however crime rates are declining, so hey, that’s something. Our country has bad education as well, which leads to wrong practices of things like child marriage and labour(but what’s the difference).

How can a country like ours improve? How do we cross the Brandt line and become one of the MEDc’s? Most, if not ALL, of our problems, can be solved by increasing education and awareness. Literacy rates eliminate thoughts of backward traditions. Being educated can increase one’s potential salary and imbibe skills in people. By increasing salary, the amount of tax paid increases, improving infrastructure and the economy in the long stretch.

And that’s my 2 cents on this topic. Sure I delved more into LEDc’s than I should have, but I felt like that part of the topic required a lot more information and awareness as we do live in an LED’c and should understand the issues countries like ours face.

Understanding how our lifestyle choices affect the environment and figuring out ways for everyone to live better, lighter lives are two key components of sustainable living.

With the glaciers melting and the sea level rising, the global temperature has already increased by 1.1 degrees covering pre-industrial levels. 700 million people are projected to be in danger of being evacuated by drought by 2030 so it is crucial to act quickly to prevent climate change by achieving the 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development along with the execution of the Paris agreement, where countries will come together and take action to reduce their greenhouse gases emissions by 2030. These are the road map for a brighter future.

Whenever I walk on the street, I can visualize only poverty faced by beggars, litter everywhere, and hazardous fumes being released from cars and other vehicles.

A very very good morning to all present here, I, Sarthak Mehra would like to share my views on side-effects of gyming on health. Understanding the reasons how exercise can affect your health and providing my opinions on how to gym safe, healthy, tensionfree.

How many of you desire to look more attractive or have a fit body which all admire? But many people lose their lives in making themselves look better. Last year, actors Siddharth Shukla, comedian Raju Srivastava, actor Dipesh Bhan also died due to heart attack while working out, so is the gym now fatal? I hope you all must be familiar with these names. 16% of the public which exercise, lose their lives. This is not a small number. A reason for a gym-death is when one does vigorous exercise, lifts heavy weights for his first attempts in the gym. This boosts your heart-beat and blood swooshes through your veins in no time. You all present here must have wondered that gyms were there decades back too, but what has caused the death-rates to inflate at such a high pace.

The major cause for death-rates in the gym are supplements like: steroids, drugs, intensive protein shakes, etc. almost all fil stars and celebrities consume these hazards to look better on screen. According to various researches, 46% gymers have lost their lives after getting targeted by cardiac arrest. Don Stenta turned 50 few years back. He thought to commence gyming. One day, during her gym sessions, he collapsed and woke up in the hospital. CRP had to be done and doctors notified that his 95% of an artery was blocked. This was an eye-opening news.

In my opinion, it is a good initiative to exercise to stay fit. But overdoing weights and exercising which may harm your health is really quiet fatal. With this thought I would like to conclude my speech.

Thank you, audience, for patiently listening to me.

Going to the gym is almost always about healthy lifestyle, but did you know, exercise can increase the risk of heart attack? Being a person who is not very fond of exercising, it only gives me an excuse to not go to the gym but with the increasing trend, I believe it is important to know of its side effects.

Heart attacks are caused when there is a sudden blockage in the coronary artery, and if you're a biology student you probably saw it in real life a few days ago. It is the artery that supplies the heart muscle with blood. Vigorous exercise can trigger electrical disturbances in the heart leading to sudden cardiac arrest and a lack of oxygen can be created in the cardiac tissue as well. Recently a popular actor and comedian, Raju Srivastava, passed away because of the same reason.

To avoid this problem, it is important to avoid overdoing your exercise and to take regular breaks with enough water to stay hydrated. If you experience any symptoms during the course of your exercise it is important to stop before it gets worse.

Heart attacks are more common in old age, so I hope this does not discourage you from exercising. Staying healthy and fit is very important as obesity and staying idle for a long time can also cause heart attacks. But be careful, or 'we go gym' will turn into 'we go emergency room'.

Thank you!

The way a country organizes its use of plutocrat, goods and trade is described as its frugality. They're occasionally called more economically advanced countries( MEDCs). Countries with lower developed husbandry are called less economically advanced countries( LEDC). There are different ways to identify a MEDC. The term generally applies to places with strong husbandry where the maturity of the population enjoys a good standard of living. This means they get good education, health care and job openings. utmost MEDCs have secondary diligence similar as goods manufacturing and service diligence similar as banking and insurance. The main diligence mining, husbandry and fishing are generally not that important to the frugality. In general, people in MEDC countries live in metropolises, not in the country. As people move down from civic centres to enjoy further space in the cities( cities), metropolises grow. The growth of metropolises to accommodate population is called urbanization. An area where a growing megacity meets a pastoral area is called sprawl. United Kingdom citified during the Industrial Revolution. Around 80 of the UK population now lives in metropolises. About 82 percent of the American population now lives in metropolises. MEDC town is called the Central Business District. This is the area where utmost companies operate. A good transportation system is important for workers to travel from home to work in a business quarter. Areas where people live are described as domestic areas. The UN monitors the profitable development of the countries of the world. It has numerous systems to help LEDCs develop and come MEDCs. One of the topmost enterprises of the United Nations regarding the unborn profitable development of all countries is the impact of climate change. It's suspected that climate change won't only complicate the profitable development of developing countries but may also reverse or reverse the achievements of MEDC countries. LEDCs can be linked by three main factors. Small inflows, poor nutrition, health care and education and the economics of LEDCs tend to be unpredictable. This means that the country's husbandry, trade, and assiduity aren't secure and can fluently go down. utmost LEDCs have husbandry, mining, and fishing as their main diligence. Secondary diligence( similar as manufacturing) and service diligence( similar as banking) are important rarer. Another common specific of LEDCs is that there are smaller people living in metropolises compared to the number of people living in metropolises in MEDC countries. Their homes are described as pastoral( located in the country rather than in metropolises). Places where the frugality is substantially in metropolises are described as citified. I hope you all had a good time. I thank you all for harkening to me and hope you all understand my point of view on the same.

Secondly, practice and hardwork criteria needs to be satisfied. Diligently working acts as an incentive to practice more. Another important aspect is focus towards the goal. An aim in the mind aids one to progress quickly towards success. In addition to this, there should be a sense of push towards his goal. In order to eliminate this, there should be no space for timidness and self doubts. Furthermore, there should always be consistency in work and holidays should be prevented till the highest extent. Once all these criteria are attained, one is sure to ace its goals.

Aashna sharma Roll no. 3

                                   LEDC’S AND MEDC’S

I guess we all have heard the word ledcs and medcs before, no I don’t mean led as in lightbulbs but less economically developed countries and more economically developed countries. LEDC AND MEDC is actually a vast topic as there are so many things related to it, I may not be able to cover all but I can mention few. MEDCs are countries which have a high standard of living and a large GDP. LEDCs are countries with a low standard of living and a much lower GDP. Most of the southern hemisphere is less developed, while countries in the northern hemisphere are more developed. If I asked you would you be able to list down countries that are LEDC’S and some which are MEDC’S?

Hello everyone, I’m Aashna and I’m here to give you some more information about ledcs and medcs. So, for a clearer idea let’s just list down the differences between ledcs and medcs. Starting with birth rate, in MEDC it is Low 10-16 babies born per 1000 people and in LEDC it is High 20-45 babiesborn per 1000 people while at the same time the death rate in MEDC is comparatively low considering how there is access to good healthcare as compared to LEDC where the healthcare facilities are poor and hence greater chances of diseases spreading. Housing in MEDCs is adequate for a majority of people. Most people have access to clean running water and electricity whereas Housing in LEDCs is often inadequate with no access to clean running water or electricity. Shanty towns are large areas which develop in LEDCs and consist of poorly built properties. Another issue that is faced by LEDC is the high illiteracy rate which is there because people don’t have high incomes and cannot possibly afford to send their kids to school plus there is even the lack of teachers. It’s completely opposite in the case of MEDC.

You know, while I was reading more about LEDC and MEDC I thought that Why do people migrate from LEDCs to MEDCs? To begin, migrations from low- to high-income countries are due to certain push and pull factors, such as unemployment, poverty, social discrimination and barren land in LEDCs and job opportunities, economic and political safety, greater wealth and fertile land in MEDCs. The causes for this mass migration range from political instability, to economic disparity, and even include environmental disasters. Especially when migration occurs between LEDCs and MEDCs, the less economically developed countries are at a greater disadvantage.

I don’t want to bore you all with the speech but I do want to ask that after listening to me do you think you can now name countries some ledc and some medc? Well, let me help you a bit. Some LEDC include: Madagascar, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Bhutan and MEDC include: United States, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and so many more. Atlast , I want to thank all of you sitting here for listening to me and being a great audience .Thankyou!

You might have heard endless information and definitions on topics like SUSTAINABLE LIVING in speeches, seminar's and countless events but here arises the question 'what about implementation and our current progress regarding sustainable living?'
To start with, sustainable living is not a choice anymore, its a necessity for every individual who has synchronized with this relative flow of time.Recently the world population hit 8 billion?8 billion,CO2 emissions broke new heights and now its even harder to convince governments into long-term investments.
So right now,our only choice is that how every attempt to use compost, every piece of garbage you recycle, every bit of food you save and every bit of energy you conserve;contributes to humanity as a civilization.Just imagine, even if half of the world's population did this;it would still keep humanity in the race for a technologically, politically and environmentally sustainable future ahead. To conclude I would like to say that "every moment is the right moment to begin" and "change,a thought of doing something different than others gives you and everyone around you hope."That's all from my end,THANK YOU!

LEDC and MEDCs

Elon Musk once famously said, that “we need to colonize mars, as in the event of a war, it is far away from earth to survive”

Over a third of the worlds population is suffering in the less fortunate parts of this world and yet it seems like a higher priority to explore a whole new planet, rather than sustain your current one. Is this the right advance? Or should we focus on our own land first? The Earth is made up of LEDCs and MEDCs and while there certainly a lot of hospitals and lights, this talk focuses on less and more developed countries in this state of time. Research shows that 1% of the worlds population owns about 75% of its money and 2 countries make up almost a 3rd of the worlds GDP. This influx of money has created a division between the 195 countries in the world, dividing them into 2 parts: LEDCs and MEDCs. Less developed countries have suffered throughout time and lack in almost every aspect of economy. The healthcare, infrastructure and education in these countries is below the expected level, while birth rate, and death rate stay high as compared to MEDs. Majority of Asian, African and south American nations fall under LEDCs whereas north American, European and countries down below are mostly MEDsC. The twist in this setup is that both types of nations cant survive without each other. Medcs depend on the cheap raw materials and labor from LedCs whereas ledCs rely on the technology and manpower of MEDCs. Countries like the US have almost no raw fuels and oils, so are wholly dependent on the middle eastern areas for Oil. Russia banks on ledcs for vehicles and tools for business, giving countries like India its precious metals and pearls. The only reason LEDcs trade is to increase their status towards an MEDC too. Even a single country drastically changing its trade and laws can affect the whole world, whether an LEDC or MEDC. so in a way, the globes economy wouldn’t function without this division in countries, and there is immediate no way forward, so I guess it couldn’t hurt to go up, up and beyond.

Once when I was stuck in traffic, I noticed the people on the footpaths, lying on the ground with nowhere to go while I was in a mode of transportation, with a certain destination in mind.

This is wealth inequality, and it is not only seen among us humans, but also among different countries. This is where classification of medcs and ledcs come into play. More and less economic developed countries. There are so many countries in the world, so how do we remember which ones are categorized in which. First of all, you don't need to remember but if you have nothing better to do, here you go: Medcs include the USA, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia and the entire continent of Europe. And Ledcs include every other country, including India. Going back to my example of our country, lets compare India, to a country like Germany. India have a much much lower gdp per capita compared to Germany which in turn means the quality of life is lower as well. Higher birth and death rates can also be seen in our country. Literacy rates and life expectancies are also significantly high in Germany. So moral of the story? Start a major war and you may see positive effects 80 years down the line This pattern will be seen every time you compare an MEDC and an LEDC. As of now, every LEDC are too far away from being an MEDC. So, there's an explanation on what Medcs and Ledcs are, and I can tell some of you aren't very happy that this speech was about boring old geopolitics and not more interesting light bulbs

How we live can and is influencing our environment. 3.5 million tonnes. That is how much waste plastic India independently creates. Can you speculate how much the whole world generates? 380 million tonnes. Surprising? Very. Concerning? Also yes. We are literary suffocating our planet. It seems like the word sustainable living is alien to everyone since most choose to disregard that. This blatant disregard for our nature and the future will be costly. We are far from sustainable living.

What exactly is sustainable living? When you as an individual transform your way of life for the better of nature. Some everyday examples would be reducing your carbon footprint. One should use more feasible materials like cloth, avoiding plastic that is not only not recyclable but also accountable for the death of considerable sea animals.

So, take a step towards the longevity of the biosphere and create a better surrounding.

A plan of sustainable living is a lifestyle to conserver resources moreover earth's natural resources. We all know that impacts of Global warming, climate change is adversely affecting our ecosystems. The ecosystem is a community of living organisms that live while interacting with non-living environment.
Good Morning one and all present here. I am Gururaj Shaldar who is going to speak about Sustainable Living.
Sustainability is to “meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. As cities began to grow with the population increase, the need for a sustainable development became more apparent as resources began to diminish in quantity and value. Left to it’s own devices, the Earth is a sustainable system. However, over the past two centuries, the accumulated impacts of one specific group of actors in that system, the humans, are now threatening the stability of the whole thing.
Many countries have policies related to sustainable living so that the country can benefit from that. We need to have a sustainable lifestyle so that the environment is not affected.

The high prevalence of illiteracy, which results from people's low salaries and inability to afford to send their children to school, as well as the shortage of teachers, are additional problems that LEDC must deal with. In the case of MEDC, it is entirely the contrary.

Thoughts of outdated traditions are eliminated by high literacy rates.

Hello everyone,

I am Darsh Parekh,

I want to talk today about the digital divide between lesser economically developed countries and more economically developed countries.

As we all know, digital literacy is a critical skill in today's society. It is necessary for participating in many aspects of modern life, including education, employment, and civic engagement. However, not everyone has equal access to or knowledge of digital tools and technologies, leading to a digital divide between those who are able to fully participate in the digital world and those who are left behind.

This digital divide is often more pronounced in lesser economically developed countries, where access to technology and the internet may be limited or non-existent due to financial barriers or logistical challenges such as a lack of infrastructure or internet service providers. As a result, many individuals in these countries are unable to fully participate in the digital world and may be at a disadvantage when it comes to finding and applying for jobs, accessing education, and connecting with others.

On the other hand, in more economically developed countries, access to digital tools and technologies is more widespread. This can give individuals in these countries a significant advantage in terms of education, employment, and other opportunities.

So what can be done to bridge this digital divide and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fully participate in the digital world? One solution is to increase access to technology and the internet in lesser economically developed countries. This may involve investing in infrastructure, providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford access, and creating educational programs and resources to help individuals learn the skills they need to use digital tools and technologies effectively.

Another approach is to leverage the resources and expertise of both the public and private sectors through public-private partnerships.

Welcome all present here. Today, I, Prapti Oza will be sharing my views on side effects of gyming on health. I have done through research on this topic and will like to educate you all about it too.

Due to modernization in the society through decades, many western cultures has influenced us to gymming -physical exercises and activities performed inside, often using equipment. Do you do gymming? People have started to do vigorous exercises which also have been leading to not a good health, but heart attack.

Over the years, there have been reports linking strenuous physical activity to sudden cardiac arrest. There are many reason as to why this happens. A common misconception is that a blockage results from deposits of fats (lipids, cholesterol)and cells on the artery wall- similar to blocks in household plumbing. This is incorrect.

The blockages are a result of cells and cholesterol particles breaking through the barrier of endothelial cells and infiltrating the lining of the artery. This is one of the major reasons why vigorous exercise is leading to deaths.

To further empathize, taking low quality and wrong protein supplements and shakes can also cause rigor mortis causing cardiac arrest and death.

In my opinion, you should be fit, but exerting yourself and doing too much and often lead to such things hence you should always take care about your health and what you eat and drink

Thank you all so much for being the best audience and listening to my words so patiently. Thank-you, singing off, Prapti Oza

Good morning to one and all present here. I, Yashi Vora, am going to talk on the topic 'Side effects of gymming. These days everyone goes to the gym regularly and tries so hard to look fit and perfect. This is why it is very paramount to enlighten everyone about the side effects of gymming.

Excess of anything is harmful. Like the phrase says, doing something in excess can be harmful. The same goes for gymming. Spending too many hours at the gym to do vigorous exercises is unhealthy. A study in US found that about 16% of sudden indoor cardiac arrests occurred in exercise facilities. Intense exercise can increase heart rate, blood pressure and hormone levels which can lead to a heart attack.

By doing such rigorous exercises, the heart has to pump blood at an extremely high rate under very high pressure. Going to the gym is meant to improve your health- not put it in danger.

Recently, a friend of mine died due to a heart attack while hitting the gym. He strained his body by starting only with all arduous workouts and because he was an amateur, he passed away.

Some other side effects are:
1. Physical burnout
2. Poor immunity
3. increased cardiovascular stress
4. Sudden muscle cramps

To conclude, I would like to request you to please be careful while exercising. Start step by step as loosing weight or coming in shape cannot happen instantly. I would like to end my speech here and thank you very much for listening to me so patiently.

LEDCs and MEDCs by Mayank Agarwal 17

Have you ever been chased by a dog? If yes, that means you have undergone the live demonstration of the relationship between LEDCs and MEDCs. Here, the dog represents the LEDC and you being the MEDC. In the given situation, LEDCs want to gain the same status as that of MEDC. The whole world revolves around economy. A country is categorized as MEDC through its GNI per capita above $12,696, while all others are named LEDC. So, after having your hears upon this, what do you'll feel. Is India an MEDC or LEDC? Well, it is an LEDC with a GNI per capita of $2,170 and it is considered developing by the World Bank. All thanks to our Prime Minister. Let me share an important fact that 46 countries are LEDCs. Now, let's talk about MEDCs, so called the developed, industrialized or high- income countries. They have high quality of life, developed economy and advanced technological infrastructure as compared to other less industrialized nations. This is totally the vice versa of LEDCs. MEDCs include the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and all the countries of Europe are identifies by the UN. You all may be surprised to know that less than 20% of the world's total population are MEDCs. Have you ever pondered upon the reason for this difference? The main reason which contributes to the fact is better health service and care for elderly people in MEDCs. This means that an average life expectancy in an MEDC is about 85 years whereas LEDCs life expectancy is 38 years of age. Since, you'll have come across the word 'Health', let me share an incident with you. In a renowned hospital in Mumbai, a patient was lying dead, anonymous to his family. However, the numbers on the bill were continously increasing. This shows the extent of cruelty and greediness of the doctors and nurses for money. Without even thinking from the humanitarian perspective, they continued this action. This highlights that for a progress in India's economic development, a strict action should be taken. As I stated previously, India is an LEDC a d LEDCs have an average life expectancy of 38 years, you can start the backward countdown of your age. Thank you.

Sustainable Living - Advaiit Gaitonde (03)

What is Sustainable living? Sustainable living is understanding how our lifestyle choices impact the world around us and finding ways for everyone to live better and lighter. Hi, my name is Advaiit Gaitonde and I will be speaking on sustainable Living. I think sustainable living is essential because it boosts our quality of life, maintains our ecosystem, and safeguards the environment's resources for future generations.

As rightly said by Pete Seeger “If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled, or composted, then it should be restricted, designed or removed from production”

Understanding how our lifestyle choices affect the environment and figuring out methods for everyone to live better, lighter lives are two key components of sustainable living. Our behavior and our decision-making determine how we live, work, and play in the future. People take action to satisfy their wants and needs and base their choices on factors including cost, accessibility, and other standards like trends

To bring sustainability into my life, I started cycling in my classes. My family too believes in sustainable living so after moving into a new space, my dad made sure that we use appliances and electrical connections with minimalistic energy consumption and I make sure to reduce the amount of electricity usage in my house. Our EVM classes made a great impact on our thinking which taught us not to waste or rather make the best use of waste and a big ‘NO TO PLASTIC’ in our daily lives.

We should become more conscious of our actions about the environment. We need to take small steps to encourage the idea of sustainable living for the people around us. Thank You and I hope we all adapt a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for a better future.

LEDC and MEDCs

Hey, everyone. So today I want to talk about LEDCs and MEDCs, and how we can help bridge the gap between these countries.

First things first, LEDCs stand for Less Economically Developed Countries, and MEDCs stand for More Economically Developed Countries. These labels are important because they help us understand the differences between these countries and how we can support LEDCs in their journey towards economic development.

One major difference between LEDCs and MEDCs is access to resources and technology. MEDCs often have more access to resources such as clean water, education, and healthcare, which can lead to better quality of life for their citizens. LEDCs, on the other hand, may struggle to provide these basic necessities for their people.

Another big difference is industrialization. MEDCs tend to have more advanced and developed industries, while LEDCs might rely more on agriculture and other traditional forms of work. This can really impact a country's economic growth and development.

So how can we support LEDCs in improving their living standards and quality of life? One way is through foreign aid and investment. This can provide resources and opportunities for economic development, and can help boost the economy of an LEDC. It's also important for MEDCs to practice fair trade and avoid exploiting the resources and labor of LEDCs.

For example, India has made significant economic progress in recent years and is now considered an MEDC. Investment in infrastructure, such as building roads and bridges, has played a major role in India's economic development. This has improved transportation and connectivity within the country, making it easier for people to access resources and for businesses to operate.

In conclusion, LEDCs and MEDCs are not defined solely by their economic status, but rather by the resources and opportunities available to their citizens. By supporting LEDCs through foreign aid and investment, and practicing fair trade, we can help create a more equal and prosperous world for all. Thanks for listening!

Dheerr Khokhani - 04 - LEDCs and MEDCs

Hello my name is Dheerr Khokhani and I would like to talk about the differentiation between LEDC’s and MEDC’s. The economies of some nations are less developed than those of others. These are occasionally referred to as less developed nations (LEDCs). More economically developed countries are those with stronger economies (MEDCs). Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific are home to the majority of the world's LEDCs. The average GDP per person in the MEDC countries is over $10,000. The average GDP per person in the LEDC countries is less than $10,000. The GDP per capita of an LEDC nation may be as low as $500. Due to widespread access to family planning and contraception in MEDC and the fact that women are choosing careers over motherhood, the birth rate is low. An LEDC has a high birth rate because there are more workers available to go out and make money for each additional child a family has. People in LEDC tend to have more children in order to ensure that more will live to adulthood because of the higher death rate. The high birth rate is also a result of customs and religions, which forbid using contraception and having an abortion. Since they have good healthcare and a greater understanding of diets, health, and fitness, MEDC has a low death rate. LEDC have a higher death rate as a result of subpar sanitation standards and a lack of food and water. Their lack of technology and inadequate health care are additional factors contributing to their high death rate. Even though the LEDC can support and provide for their people's basic needs, such as food, water, shelter, and medical attention, some cannot and require outside assistance; however, even after assistance, they are not in a better position. To help the economy, other LEDCs must improve their exporting, trading, and occasionally tourism. To do this, governments must work together and interact. While children in LEDC are required to go to work and support the family, in MEDC students are urged to learn and have a better chance of finding employment. The job opportunities in MEDC are available but in LEDC they do not have the trade and industry therefore education becomes unimportant.
