1. Come up with a *very* brief introduction of your group’s mode. Describe the potential affordances of the mode.  
2. You were asked to come with one example of your mode being used to persuade. As a group, choose one of these examples. Do some rhetorical analysis of how the mode is working to make that argument. 
  • Think about the rhetorical appeals being used 
  • Consider audience & purpose 
3. Come up with a remediation of the example you chose in the previous step. How might you remediate what this example is trying to communicate using another combination of modes?

4. After you have completed these steps, you are to present your work in front of the class. This should take no more than a couple of minutes.  
 
Expectations for your “presentation”:  
  • Introduction to your mode 
  • Explanation of your example & brief rhetorical analysis of how the example achieves (or doesn’t achieve) its purpose 
  • Justification of your remediation
