1. the Bureau of Labor Statistics is in charge of measuring
2. to be classified as employed you must fit under the following: any work that was done for pay, part time, temporary, full time or year round work
3. classified as being in the labor force means you are over 16, not in the armed forces and not incarcerated
4. it is calculated by the unemployment rate equals the total number of unemployed persons divided by the total number of people in the labor force
5. employment and unemployment can rise at the same time based on population and people returning or leaving the work force after certain events

1. I believe the easiest type of unemployment would be seasonal unemployment because you still have your job it is just based on seasons
2. someone with a family would probably want to stay away from cyclical unemployment because theres a risk you can be laid off with no notice, this would be destructive because they have a family to care for a to have a job one second and lose it another can leave a family with little money until that person finds a new job which may be difficult in that field in the first case
3. 1- seasonal unemployment because there are certain months to perform job
2- frictional unemployment because she has worked but stopped due to certain events but will return in the future
3- cyclical unemployment because of the downswing
4- structural unemployment because with new technology theres no need for a proofreader
