         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>The red wolf is in danger of extinction because earlier, it was hunted and killed in order to protect livestock. The mix up in identity between red wolves and coyotes also caused many deaths.</li><li>Since red wolves no longer have a hunting or trapping season, killing a red wolf purposefully is illegal, drastically reducing the amount of dead red wolves. Supporting organizations that utilize donations to protect red wolves also helps, along with education.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
