Windows are like a look into someone's life. To me, it is unbelievable that other people are real and could possibly live their lives similar or different to mine. As I’m walking by the campus filled with students living in residence halls, I see a glimpse of someone else’s life through a glass plane. I think about how they have their own passions and love as well. I wonder what people think they walk by my window. Maybe they see my plants on my windowsill.

Photography is one of the ways to show creative skills and life from a different outlook. There are several factors that determine the value of any image such as its color, lighting, creativity, its distinctiveness, background, charm, shooting time, shooting location, and the meaning that hides behind it. These are also the factors that differentiates an ordinary image from an impactful one. It is an art that helps in capturing beautiful moments in life and cherishes the future. It can be a natural scenery, a painting, an expression, a building, etc.

Over the time I’ve spent in this class I feel like I have learned a lot about photography. Before taking this class, I didn’t know anything about how to use a camera, but now I am more comfortable using one. I feel that my final project does a good job of showing how I have learned to convey a mood through my photography, instead of just capturing an object or person.
