Thank you for all you have done for not just our department and the college but the impact you've had directly and indirectly in students and peers lives. You are a true pro and such an asset to have here over the years. From day one when I arrived you have been direct when needed, focused on doing the best work, a true team player, always willing to speak up and share concerns and or ask for guidance, pushed others to do what is right and always had best interest of your "client" in mind when approaching your work. People rightfully so, look to you for guidance and your wisdom. I hope you put as much effort into enjoying yourself now outside work as you did here over your decades @ JCCC. You will leave a hole hard to fill but hopefully you realize you made a difference, big and small in many. Thanks for your service - I hope retirement is GREAT.

I have been in denial this day was coming; it will be a hard habit to break to not look for you at your desk on Tuesdays. I find myself accidentally saying that people are "graduating" vs. "retiring" a lot of times, but actually a lot of truth to it! You're graduating to a whole new chapter and should be so proud of all you've accomplished in this one. You've always been so wonderful to work with and talk to. I've gotten many parenting ideas from you. :) I wish you all the best, and hope you get to see some amazing places, meet some awesome people and enjoy your wonderful family. You'll be missed!
