         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>L'elettrone</mark> fu la prima particella  atomica scoperta a fine 800 grazie <mark>a Crookes e Thomson.</mark> Crookes effettuò degli esperimenti con dei tubi a vuoto, spinto con degli elettrodi a cui veniva applicata un'alta differenza di potenziale. Osservò per la prima volta i raggi catodici. Thomson grazie a questa scoperta proseguì la ricerca e scoprì l'elettrone calcolandone anche il rapporto carica/massa (che è costante).</div>]]></description>
