Saint Patrick’s day is a famous day in Ireland so all the population of Ireland are celebrating it even all around the world. Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17th March each year. Saint Patrick was born on AD 385-461 and he is the foremost patron saint of Ireland. St Patrick’s Day is celebrated in many parts of the world, especially by Irish communities and organizations. Many people wear an item of green clothing on that day. Parties featuring Irish food and drinks that are dyed in green are part of this celebration. It is a time when children can indulge in sweets and adults can enjoy a “pint” of beer at a local pub.

The latest Star Wars movie, "The Last Jedi", was shot in part in Ireland, on an island called Sceilg Mhichil also known as Skellig Michael. This island is located in the South West of Ireland. One of the specificities of Skellig Michael Island is the stone huts that have been there since the High Middle Ages. Rian Johnson, the director of the film, chose this island as a location for its wild aspect and it is uninhabited.

There have been an other place where the new Star Wars movie was shot as Malin head, which is Ireland's northernmost point in the Ishinowen Peninsula. This place is particularly appreciated for its view of the coast. This place is uninhabited, peaceful so it’s good to shot.

New Zealand is a beautiful country located between Oceania and Asia.

This Island was very well known for its beautiful landscape because a few film were shot there. Only Peter Jackson, the director or the “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” decided to shoot many scenes on this place because it offers wonderful and sublime landscape with a teeming nature. New Zealand offers to visit the hobbit village where you can even buy a copy of the famous ring for 800$ at a jewelry store. Unfortunately, New Zealand is really far away.

Ireland is much closer. You cannot visit the hobbit village but you can visit the cave that gave birth to the legend of Gollum which inspired Tolkien. Ireland also offers beautiful sceneries. And then one day the manager of a pub saw Tolkien coming into his bar. They chatted and apparently Tolkien revealed that he was writing a book and that he was inspired by the landscapes of Ireland. If Tolkien had never gone to Ireland when he was writing his books, he might not have given birth to his magical world and Peter Jackson would never have made his Book-inspired films and so New Zealand would not have made itself known as we know it today.

Ireland is the cradle of this magical and fantastic world.
