She felt overwhelmed as she had to clear a lot of people’s crockery especially when it was during lunch hour as there will be a lot of people.She also had to wipe the tables after clearing the crockery.

The user faced many trays not returned by the customers, making the tables be filled with plates.

Eva- The User saw a lot of used tissues, trays with dirty bowls and plates, food waste as well. And when The User asked the customers why, they will either give bad remarks or state that they forgot.

Alfian-The User might be disappointed by the tables because of the bowls and dirty tissues on the and with a lot of pest on the bowls and bacteria’s on the table

Glen- the user felt very mesmerised after seeing all the bowls and plates

Kiruba- she felt that it was a very difficult task because of how hard it is to remember where to put the trays in each stall

1. She has trouble figuring out what plates are from which hawker stall.

2. People don’t clear their plates - so she had to spend her time cleaning and clearing it which would take longer and more tiring to do.

It has been developed into a habit over the years which is good as now the cleaners don’t have to clean up as many trays as before.

I always thought that returning trays was part of our culture but after watching a video,I realised that many singaporeans rely on the cleaners and this surprised me.I thought it was our responsibility to return the trays.From the video,I can see a lot of singaporeans not practising this culture.

Yes, however I feel like us Singaporeans have some issue where some of us just doesn’t want to return their trays no matter what the government tries to implement.

personally, we dont mind returning the trays back. it is not that hard, we only need to return one tray. the cleaners on the other hand need to return multiple trays for iresponsible customers. by doing so we are also saving the cleaners their time and energy

1. Yes -> because people will feel responsible if they dont clear their trays and if they do, they will feel a sense of accomplishment because they did something good.

I think it was very hard for singaporean to cope with it at the start as they do not have the habit to return tray before as 1/3 of them thinks that is the cleanser’s job, but eventually we manage to cope with returning tray to the station now

More bacteria will grow causing more people to have e nausea and fall sick.

People would have terrible attitude, and al lot of time mistreat the staff cleaners working clearing their leftovers, often talking about how it was their job to clean after them. And the place is very heaty and crowded. Often after they finish cleaning one thing another appear.

People might keep leaving their trays on the table if the tray return practice is not followed consistently. This problem might attract pests and birds.

1. The hawker centre even more dirty - unclean environment for everyone to like.

Yes i do think so.This is because I always thought that the cleaners’ job was to just sanitise our table but singaporeans abused them by leaving their table.But in this question,I would think that it is our responsibility to clear our trays as we are the ones who bought the food,not them.Thus,I do encourage the culture of clearing our trays.

Tray-return culture encourages a sense of shared responsiblility among Singaporean’s so they can be responsible for their trays and would get fined as the new Singapore law says so, they also can be way responsible for due to this law and return their trays own their own

yes. when people see other people returning their trays, they would also remember to return their own trays.

And it will be dirty and smelly
