There are three reasons why I found this video lecture particularly engaging and motivating. Firstly, Dr Hayton's humorous language made me feel relaxed and engaged, especially since I was close to "insane" while writing my PhD thesis. Secondly, the lecture structure was clear, presenting common problems that PhD students face when writing their thesis and providing various solutions and skills, some of which were exactly what I needed. Finally, Dr Hayton emphasised the importance of PhD students taking breaks and maintaining their physical and mental well-being.
