         <description><![CDATA[<div>Although it was a very busy term it has been a great experience to complete a lesson observation, book look and write my action plan for the year ahead.&nbsp;<br>I have created a yearly curriculum map overview for FS1 and FS2 and discussed planning and lesson delivery with the year 1 team and HPY. To accompany this I then worked with yr1 HPY to create a master lesson proforma for deliver and lead a PD on how we would like lessons and planning to look going forward.&nbsp;<br>I feel like as a maths team we are working together on the same agenda and helping support each other.&nbsp;<br>At times I have felt very overwhelmed as it has been a challenge with it being such a busy half term and on top of the curriculum lead position, my teaching role has been very demanding as I have a tricky class. I am hoping that as things begin to be imbedded and my class are more settled I will enjoy learning more skills within the role. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It has been great to see some of the planning changes I have made take fruition. After completing a Year 1 staff questionnaire I have received some positive feedback on the planning lesson proforma with teachers saying it is consistent, well structured and the teach, practice apply is helpful for AFL.&nbsp;<br>There have been times that I have felt overwhelmed with the role and my class teacher role, juggling them both and wanting to ensure that I do both roles to my best potential. <br>Next Steps: I am going to share with year 1 some best practice when delivering Quadrant Recall to increase the amount of questions from 2 to 4 for term 3. Also, from my questionnaire feedback staff have said that they would like more PD on Mastery, reasoning and problem solving. In term 3 I would like to get into class more to see the practice of both year 1 and FS and not wait for Learning Walks.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>https://www.gov.uk/guidance/early-years-foundation-stage-exemplification-materials<br><br>I have familiarised myself with these case studies which discuss different areas of the curriculum and how other teachers are talking about children in their class and how they are meeting the objectives. I found this very useful listening to how others were tracking children and how they were adapting to meet the new curriculum. The videos were great to see how provision is set up and being used in other schools and what kind of activities they were doing to meet the objectives.&nbsp;<br>Idea for next year - tens frame morning register names. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With year 1, I feel like I wanted to be more involved with MER but found it tricky to manage the time. Next year I want to ensure it becomes more natural in FS for drop ins, book looks etc.&nbsp;<br><br>I feel like the PD sessions have been useful for staff in year 1 - especially the s+/mastery workshop as it created some great discussions and feedback which I then saw reflected in books a few weeks later. </div>]]></description>
