From the book "Out of My Mind" I can visualize Melody's keyboard the MediTalker the most. Melody says ", it's only the size of a wheelchair tray, but it is sleek and shiny and cool to the touch." I could really image a device with buttons and letters brand new out of the boxs that is the perfect size for Melody's thumbs.

The book "Out of My Mind" is about a
girl names Melody who has Cerebral Palsy. Since she can't walk, move or speak, she was told that she çan't hear and will never be able to understand anything even though she is one of the smartest kids. Her mom refused to believe the news and put her in public school. Melody was put in a special needs class learning the same thing every year. This is when Mrs. V melody's neighbor came into her life and pushes her. Mrs. V pushed Melody to learn to catch her self when she would fall off her wheel chair, to roll and crawl. Mrs. V helped make Melody more self sufficient. Which was perfect because Melody's mom was expecting another child. Penny Melody's sister was born complete healthily and grew up completely "normal" which made Melody really jealous. Melody soon after gets a device called the MediTalker that talked for her. This allows Melody to move to a regular classroom. She does get bullied for having the device and a wheelchairs and is called "stupid". She proves them all wrong making the trivia team and getting the team to go to D.C. Melody discover that her flight has been cancelled and the whole team told a earlier flight without her. When the team gets back they give her the 9th place trouphy and everyone apologizes for her.
