3. Young people of Exmouth
Please pray for our vast amount of young people in Exmouth. Please pray that despite the overwhelming need, that youth support networks would communicate and work together in the unity of our Lord and Savior to reach the masses of young people that we are so blessed with.
3. Specific groups/opportunities events
a. Lighthouse Live -
Our leadership training group. Please pray God would equip and train our leaders and team to advance his kingdom.
b. Anchored, LLC -
New upcoming midweek youth group. Please pray for us to connect with the children from Littleham estate after not seeing them for long over covid. We want to have fun with these young people but also introduce them to our savior, Jesus.
c. Sunday Club, LLC -
Please pray for our primary school group on Sunday mornings, we would love to see this group grow!
d. Crows nest, Holy trinity -
Please pray as we renovate this area to become a place of refuge and safety at Holy Trinity. There are so many opportunities this space could provide, please pray we can get the work done soon and that God would use that space for his purposes.
e. Mentoring/discipleship programme -
Please pray this ministry would expand and that we would have lots of children signing up to have weekly to monthly 1-1 meetings.
f. August launch, manor gardens
Please pray for the preparations of this event. Silence - Difficult sometimes, But switching off devices and tuning into God, who he is and where he dwells can be awesome!
2. Bible - Using verses of scripture to help you focus on God and what you're praying for. God might highlight a verse to you that is prophetic or insightful into what we're specifically praying for.
3. Fasting - Going without something for the day, a select amount of time or the slot you're praying for can also be good to direct all your attention and devotion to God. This might be some kind of food, or giving up social media!
4. Worship - as we enter into pray it's important to worship God and remember who he is. Worship might help you to focus, or God might lead you into singing, or he might be putting a song on your heart.
5. Journalling - Please write down anything God might be saying to you and keep a record. you might want to write out a verse, a song a prayer or words God is giving to you
6. Art/drawing - You might also feel inspired to draw or paint. God might be giving you a vision to draw, or he might be asking you to express your prayers in this form. Please take a picture of drawings/art and upload to this page if possible.

As we sit in our homes praying, we are probably tuning into the brewing storm and wild winds outside. Jesus says in John that the spirit is like the wind. We cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going, but we can use our senses to hear and see that the wind is active. We can hear it blowing and being active. So it is with the spirit and those born of the spirit. We cannot tell where it comes from or what the spirit might do, but we do know the spirit is active. Let's have high expectations of ourselves and God's active spirit within us. Sometimes we settle for so little as disciples of Jesus. However, the spirit is active and seeking to reach lost and broken people, we only need to ask to be filled up and willing to allow God to use us and overflow onto those we reach. How amazing would it be to see our young people overwhelmed by God's love and sold out for his kingdom. Let's EXPECT this as vessels of God's spirit. Sand castles are great, we all have memories of them as a child and they're fun! However, sand castles are also temporary, non sturdy and get washed away easily. Lighthouses however are firm, built on rock, and unmoving. They require a keeper too, who is responsible for keeping watch and making sure the light is working for the safe harbor of those in a storm. I can imagine it being costly for a lighthouse keeper. I feel God is taking us into deeper waters, that might seem a bit out of our comfort zone! But we must act faithfully and trust God. I feel God is telling us that building sandcastles isn't going to cut it anymore, we're stepping onto solid rock now as we fix our eyes on Jesus. We are fishers of men.

Keep having images (not just today but other times in prayer) of the strand and the area around subway. I feel it's a hot spot for young people who are broken and need their savior. God I pray that you would strengthen the group and leadership team and unify them in your supernatural and abounding love. I pray that the people of Exmouth would look at lighthouse and be 'confused' at the way the we love each other and the people of Exmouth.
