         <description><![CDATA[<div>She started as a teacher in Milwaukee public schools. While she was teaching, she got interested in the ideas of Labor Zionism. Golda got married to Morris Meyerson and stopped her job. Then she went to a kibbutz in Palestine. Her job there was to plant trees, picking almonds, and doing the jobs of a kitchen. Meir took a break to raise her children. Later, she got to be the secretary for Council for Women Workers.&nbsp;She then went into government. Golda was in charge of the Political Department of the Jewish Agency. She made welfare state policies and started making building projects. </div>]]></description>
