My family is close to a lot of officers that are kind and protect others. But the officers that I see on social media make me nervous because of the actions they make. At  any point in time that could happen to me so I try to stay away from police officers. I was also taught to not interfere with police officers if you don't need help. The best encounter I had with the police was the school police. These encounters were different from the other bad police officers, they were kind and helpful and always put a smile on someone's face in elementary school. They were able to protect people, they were able to do their job. But still a few bad things can ruin the police credibility.

For instance, a black person who was killed was George Floyd and it made me a bit scared because it can happen to anyone and I don't know if the officer is racist and has a criminal record. Also, I don't really dislike the police or like them, just because one police officer killed someone does not reflect on all the officers but the police try their best to protect the city.
