We were all good friends and had a common goal and did well together. At the education job that I am in, I would say there's definitely hierarchy involved because I am in a role that does support multiple people and so I find that behavior probably is a little bit different. I do not voice my opinion as much since I am not a large contributor to the end product.

For the airport job, it was a culture was just very oriented on the family. That came down from our boss who was very family oriented. Being happy at home helped us be productive at work. Education-wise is still very positive it's just a very different group of people that I work with which I think is just more relaxed but not lazy just relaxed in that they just do what has always been expected and have a hard time thinking outside of the box and putting policies and procedures and processes in place that would help School District, in my opinion, a little better.

at the airport we had one huge project that was a 78 million dollar renovation of a brand-new terminal for the public to fly in and out of and so our success was opening that terminal and finishing on time and on a budget for our community surrounding area. would be to implement classes for students who would find them interesting and intriguing and learn and hit their learning targets. Also staying on a budget stay on budget within what we are given and also since I support testing making sure that students are non-stressed, teachers are non-stressed so that they can appropriately answer and finish what is expected of them from the state.

I would say the airport job probably was a little bit more flexible if I was not doing a community event.
Did you ever feel excluded from anything based on your gender?

airport world, it is primarily men dominated. It is an old school mentality and lots of suits and ties from the male gender standpoint. luckily I didn't feel excluded because my boss who is male was very inclusive and included the women on his staff in everything that he possibly could. But when we were outside at the airport they were very accustomed to talking to only men and so it was a little bit more difficult to be a woman in that environment. I'm in the education environment that I'm in right now we are primarily all women in the department that I have. I think there are two men to us, 9 women and so I do not feel excluded in any way from that perspective, but I definitely have a different role than in the business environment. I would say primarily if you look at our business office as a whole it is primarily women supporting either women directors or men directors, I don't think there are any men in the role of support staff.
