The audience wore specialty designed shirts representing the player they supported. ESPN started the night by showing the last hand from July. It was the 10th place elimination of Josh Weiss. After that short clip, the players were introduced to the stage and play got underway.

Fernando Pons was the first player eliminated from the final table. He moved all-in for his final eight big blinds with Ad-6c. Cliff Josephy called from the big blind with Kh-Jc. The flop came Ks-Qc-3s giving Josephy the lead. The turn was the 9d and the river brought the Kc. Josephy's three kings sent Pons to the rail in 9th place. Pons earned $1 million for his ninth place finish.

Jerry Wong started the day eighth in chips and became the short stack with Pons' elimination. Shortly after becoming the short stack of the table, Wong doubled up through Kenny Hallaert. The double up didn't prevent him from being the next player eliminated though. A couple orbits later Wong ran his pocket jacks into Vojtech Ruzicka's pocket queens to be the next player eliminated. Ruzicka opened the pot with a raise from early position and was three-bet by Gordon Vayo on the button. Wong four-bet all-in from the big blind and left only 1.5 big blinds behind. When the action got back to Ruzicka he stuck in a five-bet. Vayo folded and Wong called for his last few chips. Ruzicka showed Qh-Qd and Wong flipped over Jh-Js. The flop, turn and river did not bring any help to Wong and he exited in eighth place for $1,000,076.

Eight hands after Wong's elimination another player hit the rail. Finishing in seventh place was Griffin Benger. After his elimination, Benger admitted he was card dead and his chip stack was whittled down to 10 big blinds. His bustout hand began with Gordon Vayo opening the pot with a raise from the button. Benger moved all-in from the big blind and Vayo called. Vayo showed 10s-10h and Benger showed As-9s. Vayo's hand held and Griffin was eliminated in seventh place for $1,250,190.

The remaining six players were left fairly deep stacked. Kenny Hallaert was the short stack with about 30 big blinds. Ruzicka started six-handed play with the chip lead, but ended up losing it after a failed bluff against Vayo. Vayo checked-called the flop with a flush draw. He then check-called the turn after he hit his flush and the action on the river went check-check after the board paired. The updates don’t show it, but it was later found out through the ESPN coverage that Ruzicka had Ac-10c.

The night ended with the biggest pot of the evening. Hallaert opened the pot with a raise from under the gun. Action folded to Nguyen in the cutoff and he three-bet. Action folded back to Hallaert and he four-bet all-in. Nguyen instantly called and both players showed down their hands. Nguyen had Ad-As and Hallaert had Ac-Qc. The flop came Qs-5h-4s helping Hallaert a little bit, but the turn and river were blanks and Hallaert became the sixth place finisher. His 6th place finish earned him $1,464,258바카라사이트

Play ended for the evening with Hallaert's elimination. Action will resume again Monday at 4:30 pm ET. The remaining five players are all guaranteed at least the fifth place prize money of $1,935,288.

With a focus on dealerless poker solutions and a robust set of backend tools, it enables efficient management and enhancement of poker operations by casino operators.

The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes, Tribal Gaming Commission is the watchdog for the Gray Wolf Peak Casino in Missoula, Montana, and has now awarded its blessing to the provider to proceed with the installations. The provider of gambling machines is now scheduling the installation of its next-generation dealerless ETGs at the gaming resort.

The partnership for the installation of the Jackpot Blitz® electronic table game at Gray Wolf Peak Casino dates back to April 2023. Back then, President and CEO of the company, Jake Kalpakian said the provider is pleased to team up with the Missoula establishment, which is the largest casino in the state of Montana and help it enhance offerings for its customers.

Previously, Mr. Kalpakian said that casinos from around the globe suffer labour shortages and inflationary wage pressures, which is welcome news for the company, as it makes its ETGs much more attractive. He explained that via the market-leading dealerless Jackpot Blitz® technology, gaming establishments are able to deal more hands per hour while also reducing expenses by employing fewer people.

On top of partnering with Carnival Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Princess Cruises, Holland America, AIDA, and Costa Cruises in the cruise industry, the supplier also boasts installations or orders in 12 states and territories in the U.S. This includes California, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, U.S. Virgin Islands, Washington, along with several international jurisdictions.

Latest on the B.C. Firm

It should be mentioned that in October 2023, Jackpot Digital announced the signing of a partnership deal with Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort in Jackson, California in the U.S. Via the agreement, the supplier accepted the terms to install three of its dealerless poker Jackpot Blitz® electronic table games on the casino’s gaming floor.

In addition to its partnership with the Californian casino, the gaming supplier has also inked new agreements or letters of intent for 20 Jackpot Blitz® table installations and has received LOIs for an additional 16 tables from unnamed partners. This amounts to a total of 36 new ETG orders in 2023. These new orders mean a 55% increase in installations for the company.카지노사이트먹튀

The integrity of our poker system has been compromised by a trusted senior consultant hired by AP

Whose position has given us special access to certain security systems," said Joe Norton, a former grand chief of the Canawake Mohawk region and owner of Tokiro Enterprise ENRG, which holds a 100% stake in Absolute Poker.

"As with you, I am not pleased that AP has provoked the anger, doubt and concern of our valued customers by providing a timely and comprehensive account of this matter," the statement said. "I hope that customers will be able to recognize that this remains a very complex and sensitive issue, and I would like to offer my strongest assurance that we will be as honest as possible about how this breach occurred and what we are doing to address the situation."

Mr. Norton, who is currently traveling, has decided to respond by email to questions from Casino City. It will be posted here as soon as the email arrives.

The situation Norton is talking about began about a month ago when complaints began to surface at a gambling tournament in Absolute Poker that there was a "super-user" account at the table to view every player's hole card.

According to a forum on TwoPlusTwo.com , the complaint began when a potripper had the good fortune of spending 20 minutes without folding a free-flop at one point during a poker game. The player, named "crazymaco," was suspicious, and e-maild Absolute Poker requested an XLS file of hand records. Absolute Poker complied with the standard.

But what mad Marco received was far from a typical hand recording file. In addition to hand recording, each player's hole card and IP address, as well as the user details of both the person at the table and the observer, were revealed.

Further investigation revealed that "Potter" folded his first two hands at the table in question, but when observer 363 arrived at the table, "Potter" did not fold his other hand for 20 minutes before flop, suggesting that somehow, No. 363 was relaying all hole cards to "Potter" using a super user account. To make matters worse, No. 363 IPs were tracked to a person under the name Scott Tom, who confirmed that Absolute Poker was "a former member of Team Absolute Poker."

On Sunday, Norton's admission that the company's security breach was a "horrible and inexcusable crime" came eight days after Absolute Poker announced that it had conducted an "extensive investigation" and that "there were no security breaches in accordance with Absolute Poker's knowledge, information and beliefs." In the same statement, dated Oct. 12, Absolute Poker said that "an internal investigation determined that it was impossible to view Hall cards by any person, device, program, script or other means." 바카라사이트

The Canawake Gaming Commission and a third-party auditor, Gaming Associates, are currently investigating. The AP has announced that it will release the audit results upon completion.

Kenneth George, 40, was arrested on Friday shortly after the violent incident at the Fremont Street casino, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on Tuesday. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officers charged him with suspicion of sex trafficking an adult, battery, and pandering.

Bail was set at $20K. George remains in custody as of Wednesday in the Clark County Detention Center.

The incident began when Geroge approached the unnamed woman on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. The woman allegedly worked as a prostitute in the area and previously worked for George.

Two weeks ago, George allegedly told the woman he would “knock her out” if she didn’t work for him again.

The woman later told an LVMPD officer that George was her “ex-pimp.” She said she last worked for him in 2019 and that, since then, George was “constantly harassing her on basically a monthly basis” to again work for him, according to the police report.

Binion’s Incident

Shortly after George approached the woman on the street, she walked into Binion’s, sat at a bar, and started chatting with a friend, according to the report.

George followed her into the gaming property. He approached her and demanded she work for him. He also wanted “a ride and some money,” police said.

I’ll knock you out. I know you’re scared of me,” George further threatened the woman, police added.

George then allegedly attempted to grab her purse to steal money she had made earlier that day from a “date.” The two struggled over the purse, and George slapped her in the face, police said.

George then attempted to leave the casino, but Binion’s security guards detained him. Security had been watching the incident on surveillance cameras and called the police.

Registered Sex Offender

George’s criminal background check revealed many arrests and convictions and several recent charges pending, including pandering, failure to obey sex offender laws, obtaining a credit card without the holder’s consent, resisting arrest, DUI, reckless driving, and driving with a revoked license, the Review-Journal reported.

George was also identified by the Review-Journal as a registered sex offender following a 2005 conviction for the sex trafficking of a 13-year-old girl, according to the newspaper. He was sentenced to 18 months and 12 months concurrently in state prison.

He also was sentenced to prison for at least a year in 2014 for larceny, according to the Review-Journal.

In total, George reportedly was arrested 28 times for felonies and misdemeanors since 2002. Many of these charges were dropped by the Clark County district attorney’s office, the Review-Journal reported.

According to court records cited by the paper, charges against George included first-degree kidnapping, child abuse/endangerment, violation of sexual registration laws, five counts of prohibited acts by a sex offender, and four counts of being a fugitive.바카라

A recent survey by the American Gaming Association (AGA) indicates 94% of gaming CEOs queried view the current business environment as “good” or “satisfactory” — a percentage that’s in-line with what was seen in the third quarter 2023 poll.

Gaming’s record-setting growth over the last three years has set a new standard for industry success,” said AGA President and CEO Bill Miller in a statement. “However, as we enter a period of market normalization, continued investment and innovation in offering world-class, responsible entertainment experiences will be required to maintain industry momentum.”

Looking further out, nearly a third of the executives polled by the trade group believe business conditions will improve over the next six months.

Data Not Necessarily Supportive of Gaming CEO Views

It could be argued that the optimism expressed by gaming CEOs in the AGA survey is misplaced, particularly at a time when consumer confidence has tumbled for three consecutive months.

Additionally, some analysts say there are negative headwinds emerging on the Las Vegas Strip — a view that comes on the back of mounting evidence of retrenchment at some regional casinos, particularly in the Midwest and the South.

Persistently elevated inflation, which has resulted in the highest US interest rates in two decades, appears to be taking a toll, albeit modest for now, on the casino gaming industry. It’s affecting consumer spending and leading to higher costs for operators at a time when many are planning significant capital expenditures to spruce up venues. Half of the CEOs questioned by AGA expect construction and renovation costs to be high over the next year.

“Executives report that inflationary or interest rate concerns continue to be a major factor limiting operations (28%), but these have been overtaken by geo-political risk (34%) and uncertainty of the economic environment (34%) as the biggest limiting factors in the most recent Gaming Executive Panel,” according to AGA.

Gaming Industry Growing Faster than US Economy

Data indicate that the gaming industry is expanding at a more rapid rate than the broader US economy. The AGA’s first-quarter reading of the Current Conditions Index checked in at 102.8, confirming year-over-year growth of 2.8%.

That’s well ahead of the 1.6% increase in US GDP in the first three months. That gap could further widen in favor of the gaming sector because some experts believe the first-quarter GDP report will be revised lower. By some estimates, the US government has spent $2.50 for each $1 of economic growth, indicating the gaming industry is a more effective steward of capital.

Looking further out, the gaming Current Conditions Index could modestly increase over the next six months even when factoring in sticky inflation.

“This outlook reflects Oxford Economics’ forecast that the U.S. economy will slow during 2024 but avoid recession. Despite a projected economic slowdown, consumer survey results continue to indicate that more than one-third of adults expect to visit a casino during the next 12 months, consistent with prior quarter results,” noted the AGA. 바카라사이트

$2.2 Million on Security, Travel for Jason Robins, $61K on Event Tickets

Spent more than $2.22 million on air travel and security expenditures for co-founder and CEO Jason Robins in 2023, and the perks the gaming company lavished upon high-ranking executives don’t end there.

The $2.22 million the sportsbook operator doled out for its chief executive officer’s private air travel and security last year was above the roughly $2 million the company spent on the same things in 2022. Those items and more were detailed in a Schedule 14A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last month.

For Mr. Robins, the amounts disclosed in this column include $1,114,762 for security costs, $1,112,973 for air travel costs, $9,900 for our matching contribution made under our 401(k) plan, $15,925 for financial planning services, $61,095 for the purchase of tickets, travel and accommodations to Company-sponsored events during the year, and $353,335 for tax reimbursements related to the aforementioned items, where applicable,” according to the regulatory document.

Some of that $61,095 was likely directed to Robins’ attendance at the 2023 Super Bowl. That along with nearly $26K in financial planning services and retirement plan contributions could irk some DraftKings investors due to the that fact Robins is estimated to be a billionaire.

Despite Spending, Robins’ Stock Sales, DraftKings Soars

In fairness to Robins and fellow co-founders Matt Kalish and Paul Liberman, shares of DraftKings have rallied even as that trio and other high-ranking insiders at the company have been dedicated sellers of the stock.

On April 22, Robins sold 200K shares of DraftKings, grossing $8.18 million in proceeds in the process, according to a Form 144 filing with the SEC. However, the stock is up 20.4% year-to-date and 93.8% year to date, making it one of the best-performing gaming equities over those spans.

In fiscal 2023, DraftKings granted Robins approximately $18 million in performance and restricted stock units and annual incentives. Kalish received north of $11 million in such compensation while the operator granted more than $10 million in performance and restricted units and annual incentives, according to the Schedule 14A filing.

Equity-based compensation is a plum deal for the executives receiving it because they’re typically granted options at prices well below market value. The DraftKings proxy filing indicates the options Robins can exercise options granted in 2025 through 2029 at prices ranging from 63 cents to $4.70. The stock resides around $42.50 at this writing.

Critics could assert that the $1 annual salary drawn by the three co-founders is nothing more than a public relations stunt because that trio and others are lavishly compensated in equity. Conversely, DraftKings bulls might be comfortable with the fashion in which Robins, Kalish, and Liberman are compensated because the stock has nearly quadrupled in less than two years.

Some Questionable Spending at DraftKings

It can be accurately argued that Robins is the face of DraftKings and he holds the bulk of the operator’s voting stock. As such, the board is comfortable with spending on his private air travel and security.

The audit committee and the compensation committee of the Board approved this arrangement based, among other things, on the requirement of Mr. Robins’ security program that Mr. Robins and his family fly private and their assessment that such an arrangement is more efficient and flexible and better ensures safety, confidentiality and privacy,” according to regulatory document.

Kalish and Liberman are less recognizable. That could introduce questions as to why DraftKings doled out $375,150 in fiscal 2023 on security for Kalish. The company also spent almost $20K on 401(k) contributions and more than $28K on financial planning for those two co-founders. 슬롯머신
