2. The picture is of the porch of a house. On the porch there is a swing and a window. To the right side of the porch there are two things stacked on top of eachother. There is grass growing wildly in front of the porch. The picture is black and white.

3. The element of art used in this photo is value because of the hues of the black and white photo.

The principal of design in this photo is balance because there is a swing in the middle of the picture and there are two pillars on either side of the swing

4. This piece of art represents loneliness. No one is sitting in the swing that is on the porch and it looks really old. The swing looks lonely. When i look at this picture it makes me feel sad and lonely.

5. I think the artist was successful in conveying their message of loneliness through this picture because the swing looks like nobody has sat in it for a million years. I also think the artist was successful in the work done on this photo. The quality of the work is excellent. I would hang this picture in a gallery because it is a job well done.
