One of her brothers' friends went by the name of Rauleigh Wells. Rauleigh had met Diane's brothers at work in the coal mines and had been inseparable ever since. My grandmother and Rauleigh never really took interest in each other for a couple more years. What is so unique about their relationship is that Diane's mother treated Rauleigh like a 4th son; she always fed him, she always clothed him, and she always made sure he had somewhere to sleep.
