One big issue in many companies is related to miscommunication. This usually happens when people don’t talk to each other clearly, or when staff feel too uncomfortable to speak up to their boss about ideas or problems. Sometimes, the company itself doesn’t really explain what they want clearly, so employees end up confused about what they’re supposed to do.

If I were handling this, I’d make sure there are easier ways for people to talk — like group chats, short team catch-up meetings, or even just casual check-ins with the boss. I’d also suggest the company creates a space where staff can give feedback, maybe even anonymously, so people who are shy still have a way to speak up. I believe when everyone can share ideas freely, the work will flow better and there’ll be fewer misunderstandings.

Even worse, the company might end up giving birth to soledom workers due to lack of respect that arises from incompatibility and unreliability shown by the leader.

Let's say I am given the job to handle this, I would make sure the selected leader is able to carry the responsibility by looking at their past performance, doing some sort of election, and investigating the complaint from his or her underling to make sure the problem does not occur later on.

Even with clear guidelines in place, without proper supervision, employees may confuse with the company’s values. Lacking of clarity can lead to low morale and decreased productivity.

To address poor implementation of corporate culture, clear and effective communication is essential to ensure employees understand the company’s values, mission, cultures and regulations. This can be achieved through orientations, posters and handbooks.

When it comes to company matters, communication plays the most vital role within the employees and supervisor. Miscommunication happened when employees did not communicate well with each other, and they might as well feel uncomfortable about approaching supervisors, to express ideas, suggestions and concerns. This matter also happened when the company itself might not articulate expectations and goals in a clear way, hence the staff became confused about the tasks they should accomplish.

If I put myself in the situation, I would try my best to communicate with the employees. Despite the unseen boundary, we should try to interact with anyone in the company. I would create a chatroom, and utilise it to announce notices and discuss with the staffs. Next, I would have a casual meeting as well as one-to-one session. The rational reason is to enlighten whatever is unclear, including constant reminders of KPI. All in all, every employees must be guided and reminded, because condemning each other would not lead to solution.

It is one of the reasons why companies have big turnover rate among its employees and constantly having open vacancies. Employees are left gaping with no clear guidelines when situations that could have been heeded are disregard until another problems arise.

Employees could not do as much but to try to explain and/or perform as plainly as possible as they do not have clear black and white documentations that could prove their words. All they could do is to propose the problems to the top management in hopes that it could bring change for the good of the company as well as to ensure that their voices and opinions are heard.

To manage the issue of poor leadership, I believe it's important to start by making sure leaders are not just good at managing tasks, but also know how to connect with their team members. They should be trained in emotional intelligence so they can understand and support their team better, especially during stressful times. Good communication skills and the ability to make fair, confident decisions are also super important.

A leader who shows competence, acts with integrity, and is consistent in their actions will naturally earn the respect of their team. To make sure leaders are doing well, the company can run leadership evaluation programs or maybe through feedback surveys or regular performance check-ins.

I also think two-way feedback between leaders and employees is really helpful. Sometimes leaders don’t realize the impact of their actions unless someone points it out. Creating a safe space for employees to share their thoughts can help solve problems early and build a stronger, more trusting environment at work. After all, a great workplace starts with great leadership.

As we know, one of the most pressing issues in today's working environment is leadership within companies. Why do I say this? Because it all comes down to how leaders treat, pay, and appreciate their employees individuals who work tirelessly not only to sustain their own livelihoods but also to contribute to the company's growth and success. Unfortunately, many leaders tend to take their employees for granted. They fail to provide clear guidance, support, or recognition, and as a result, employees are left feeling undervalued and directionless.

This issue shouldn't be ignored. As employees, even though we may be seen as just workers, we hold the power to drive change. We must be brave enough to speak up for our rights and for what is fair. It's time to raise our voices not in anger, but in unity and truth. We owe it to ourselves to stand up for the sacrifices we've made the blood, sweat, and tears we've poured into our work. Toxic leadership needs to be addressed directly. If leaders are mistreating staff, being unfair, or neglecting their duties, it should be documented and reported to higher authorities or HR. Silence only gives toxic behavior more power.

Leadership

It is common that conflict happen between leader and employees under a corporation. Being leader is a huge responsibility, one show another to earn respect, next what is takes to commit in return. A leader can sets bunch of rules and regulations for the corporation but is meant for everyone in equality, regardless of position. If a leader broke the rules, do you think the employees will still respect and follow them ? If the rules were meant to be broken, why to set those rules for ? So consistency and integrity are crucial in maintaining a culture of respect and accountability.

In some cases, leader can be blind by personal relationship which within the organization. Quite normal to see this 'wild card' is used for avoiding responsibility or covering up the mistakes. This show that the fairness and transparency which needs to be clear in differentiate between work and personal relationship.

In corporate settings, miscommunication can significantly impact workplace efficiency and morale. When employees struggle to communicate with one another or feel uncomfortable approaching their supervisors, or in some cases team leaders, it creates barriers to collaboration and innovation. Additionally, when leadership fails to communicate expectations and goals clearly, the employees can become confused, disengaged, and uncertain about their roles, affecting their perceptions and thought processes.

To manage this, I would come with the clear agenda of what to do while taking the initiative to promote open communication, improve leadership messaging, and create regular feedback loops. Training staff in effective communication skills and using standardised communication tools can also help ensure that everyone can be on the same page and stay informed, aligned, and comfortable sharing their insights and concerns.

From what I have seen, Malaysian company emphasises a lot on teamwork, respect for hierarchy, and engage in open communication. Hence, employees from a more individualistic culture may not align with these cultural values, and they are often viewed as non-team players. I believe this will eventually disrupt the work environment, especially the team dynamic, because not everyone here shares a goal, while they are supposed to share a goal.

I think this situation can be solved with the peer support and mentoring system. The mentor can guide the employee through understanding the importance of teamwork, help them to understand that their roles matters, and how to embrace the culture professionally. Besides, higher up might have to consider engaging one-on-one communications that provide the employees with a safe place to voice their concerns.

Many people think company culture is created from the top down, from HR, or other places high up in the corporate chain. This sentiment is wrong, building a great work culture should be a team effort where everyone contributes.

The role of employees in shaping and maintaining corporate culture is crucial. In fact, When employees hold themselves and others accountable to the company’s values (for example calling out unethical behavior or supporting diversity), they protect and strengthen a positive culture.

Miscommunication Miscommunication occurs when the intended message from the sender is not accurately received or interpreted by the receiver. Unclear instructions, vague messages, or jargon that

is not understood by everyone and can cause employees to misinterpret what is expected of them, leading to errors and inefficiencies. To manage miscommunication issues, organizations or companies should invest in communication skills training for employees at all levels. Communication skills training can include topics such as active listening, assertiveness, and conflict resolution. Organizations may create a more sensitive and responsive work environment by educating employees with these essential skills. Communication training may help employees manage arguments and disagreements productively. Most importantly, communication training provides employees with the skills they need to successfully communicate their ideas, thoughts, and information, such as increasing verbal and nonverbal communication, active listening, and assertiveness. Thus, when employees acquire these skills, it is possible that they would be able to eliminate miscommunication that can hamper the efficacy of communication in the workplace.

The issue I would like to highlight is leadership. In my opinion, appointing a strong and respected leader is important for any team or organization. A good leader not only guides and motivates the team but also builds meaningful connections with the members. It's important for a leader to build trust and openness, so there are no awkward boundaries or communication gaps between them and the rest of the team. Additionally, a leader should be approachable and able to communicate clearly to all workers. Leaders should treat everyone fairly and avoid showing favouritism, as professionalism is key to maintain a healthy and productive work environment.

One of the issues I will talk about is miscommunication in the workplace. This happens when employees don’t talk to each other clearly and feel uncomfortable sharing ideas or concerns with their supervisors. It can also happen when managers don’t clearly explain goals and tasks, which makes employees confused about what they need to do. To solve this, I would first look at why there is confusion, usually because there are no regular updates or clear ways to communicate. This often happens when communication isn’t seen as important in the company. To fix it, I would suggest having regular meetings, using clear communication tools like emails or chat apps, and creating a workplace where people feel safe to give feedback. This would help everyone understand their roles better and feel more connected at work.

One of the common issues in corporate culture is the lack of investment. When a company doesn't put enough time, money, or effort into developing and supporting its culture, it can end up feeling meaningless. Employees might view the company’s values and goals as empty words if there’s no real action to support them. This often leads to low motivation, weak teamwork, and a general lack of trust in the company's direction.

To overcome this issue, companies should actively invest in building and maintaining their culture. This includes providing regular training, organizing team-building activities, and creating a work environment that reflects the company’s core values. It also helps to recognise and reward employees who embrace and contribute to the culture. When employees see that the company genuinely cares about its culture, they're more likely to stay engaged and grow with the organisation.

However, we can encourage open communication by creating a workplace culture where employees feel safe sharing ideas or issues without fear of judgment or retaliation. Besides that, promote a culture of feedback by encouraging regular, two-way communication between employees and leadership. This includes giving feedback and being open to receiving it.

Miscommunication is a common issue in many workplaces, especially in high-pressure environments like healthcare. In nursing, clear and effective communication is vital to ensure patient safety, coordinated care, and smooth teamwork. When communication is unclear, it can lead to confusion, errors, and reduced trust among team members. Nurses must feel confident in expressing concerns, asking questions, and confirming instructions to avoid misunderstandings.

In clinical settings, miscommunication can occur easily due to the fast-paced and demanding nature of the job. For example, instructions might be given too quickly or without proper clarification, especially during shift changes or emergencies. This can lead to errors such as performing a task at the wrong time or missing out important steps in patient care. Such situations highlight the need for active listening and clear communication among nurses and supervisors.

To manage this issue, I learned the importance of clarifying instructions before proceeding. Now, I make sure to repeat back important information to confirm that I’ve understood correctly. I also feel more confident asking questions when something is unclear, even during busy times. This approach has helped me avoid mistakes and improved my communication with the healthcare team.

One of the common issues that occurs in corporate culture is implementation. I believe that this issue happen due to the reality of phrase "Action speaks louder than words", as companies often define their goals but fail to put them into action. When their is a gap between words and actual action, employees tend to lose their trust towards the companies' works.

Firstly, if I were in a position to manage this issue in a company I would like to ensure that leadership sets the tone by consistently modeling the desired behaviors hoping that I can motivate the other employees. Next, I would implement clear action plans in the community by regularly tracking the work progress and make sure to keep everyone aligned. Lastly, I would also encourage my fellow colleagues to share their feedback about their working experience without being scared of backlash. Their thoughts will surely help identify the problems and shape improvements.

Thus, by turning words into action, I believe that trust can be build and it will create more effective corporate culture.

I believe a strong leadership is crucial in a company, whether it is a big or small company because a strong leadership provides direction, builds trust between the employees and drives success for the company. It is clear that weak leadership often leads to poor performance of a job because the employees will follow their foot step as a bad influence and take their job frivolously.

Therefore, prevention in appointing someone with weak leadership as leader in a team is to look at their past performance or experience leading a team while observing their personality as a normal worker, whether they are responsible, committed in doing work and have a good relationship with the co-worker. But, before that, I stand by the idea that the employee should volunteer themselves to become a leader to achieve the most effective performance as it comes from willingness, not obligation.

But actually, employees play a big role in how the company feels every day. They’re the ones who work together, follow the rules, and help each other.

If employees don’t care about the company’s values or don’t feel included, the culture can become negative. To manage this, I would make sure every employee feels like they matter.

Bad Implementation

Common bad implementations in corporate culture often revolve around poorly executed SOPs, strategies, and organizational initiatives. These failures typically stem from vague objectives, lack of detailed planning, inconsistent communication, and minimal employee involvement. For example, a new SOP may be rolled out without clear steps, rationale, or training, leading to confusion and workarounds. Strategic initiatives might be announced broadly without concrete plans, timelines, or alignment with team capacities, causing disengagement and inefficiency.

To manage these pitfalls,I approach each implementation with a structured, detail-driven framework: define clear goals, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes. Communicate expectations in a direct, no-nonsense way that cuts through ambiguity. Most importantly, build collaborative checkpoints—engage stakeholders early and often to gather feedback, secure buy-in, and ensure that everyone is working from the same playbook. This mix of clarity, precision, and teamwork transforms vague initiatives into practical, actionable outcomes.

This helps align everyone with the company’s values. Encouraging open communication and feedback helps employees feel heard. This builds respect and strengthens trust in leadership. Investing in leadership development programs helps managers gain skills. This way, they can inspire and guide their teams better. I’d make sure communication is clear and simple. Even with clear guidelines, without proper follow-through, employees may feel confused or misaligned, leading to delays, inefficiency, and ultimately, failure to meet the company’s goals. To resolve this, the company should break down large objectives into clear, actionable steps and assign specific responsibilities to ensure accountability. Regular check-ins and progress tracking through project management tools can keep everyone on the same page, while creating space for feedback helps identify and correct issues early. Most importantly, celebrating small wins along the way keeps morale high and progress visible. With proper implementation and active supervision, a company’s vision can transform into real, measurable success. After all, a vision without execution is just hallucination.

Unpredictable or ineffective leadership will significantly undermine organizational culture and lead to disengagement, low morale, and distrust among employees. To reduce this problem, I would first conduct a thorough analysis of current leadership habits with an eye towards identifying skill, consistency, or credibility gaps through tools like employee feedback and performance appraisals. Secondly, accountability structures would be implemented to align the leaders with the values of the organization, correct misconduct openly, and enforce adherence to clear standards. Finally, executives must model the desired behaviors such as integrity, respect, and intentional action to establish a positive culture. By cultivating strong, stable leadership, companies can reboot their culture, increase engagement, and create a single environment where workers feel motivated to give their best.

Strong and respected leadership is very important in an organization especially in a cooperate organization. This is because the more the employees respect you as a leader the easier for you to lead them. If your employees respect you they are willing follow all your rules and orders. However, there also certain organization where the leadership is weak and inconsistent and not respected. If I were an employee in this situation I would focus more in professionalism and doing my best to remain productive rather than being frustrated and demotivated. I would lead by example through my action by being respectful and supportive of my team to motivate my other coworkers. I trust that in this situations communication is the most important things to avoid misunderstanding with other employees and protecting myself. I might not able to change the leadership directly so I would focus more on what I can control like my working performance, attitude and growth. But, if the situation is becoming too toxic and hampers my careers development I would consider looking for a better opportunity in a healthier organization and stronger leadership employment. Ultimately, managing poor leadership require patience, self awareness, and strong sense of professionalism.

Miscommunication can create a lot of issues in the workplace, like confusion, mistakes, and even tension between team members.Progress might be slowed down and the team's general atmosphere can be impacted when members are unsure of what is expected of them or are uncomfortable raising questions or concerns. I've witnessed how little miscommunications can escalate into more significant issues if they are not resolved right away.

I concentrate on establishing an environment where communication is courteous, transparent, and open in order to handle this. I ensure that everyone is aware of their responsibilities and objectives, and I periodically check in to see how things are progressing. I also urge individuals to ask inquiries, express their opinions, and speak up without fear of criticism. Trust is increased and teamwork becomes easier and more confident when everyone feels heard and informed.

MISCOMMUNICATION

Miscommunication among employees in the workplace can lead to serious consequences that impact both relationships and team effectiveness. When coworkers do not communicate their roles, expectations, or responsibilities clearly, it can result in confusion, unfinished work, and shifting blame. These misunderstandings often create tension, frustration, and conflict, making it challenging to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

If such miscommunication continues over time, it can damage trust, contribute to a toxic atmosphere, and reduce overall productivity. It may also lead to frequent errors, missed deadlines, and poor decision-making. These outcomes emphasize the need for clear, respectful, and open communication to ensure that everyone is aligned and working efficiently toward shared objectives.

From my perspective, if I were to experience miscommunication with a colleague, I would remain calm and avoid jumping to conclusions. I would respectfully approach the person to clarify the issue and listen to their side with an open mind. I believe in honest, clear communication, so I would also explain my point of view and work together to find a solution. Addressing the matter in a calm and respectful way is, in my opinion, key to rebuilding trust and encouraging better teamwork.

Of course — let’s make it sound even more down-to-earth and conversational:

If I were dealing with miscommunication in a company, I’d start by making sure people actually have easy, comfortable ways to talk to each other. That means setting up regular team check-ins, making sure managers are approachable, and giving people a way to share feedback anonymously if they need to. I’d also keep everyone in the loop by clearly laying out company goals, expectations, and updates in places people actually use like group chats, quick newsletters, or shared online boards. Most importantly, I’d focus on creating a culture where people feel safe speaking up, whether it’s sharing a new idea or raising a concern. Team-building activities and helping managers become better listeners would be a big part of that. When people feel heard and included, everything runs smoother.

To tackle this issue, I would focus on building a strong communication with my colleagues. For example, I maybe create platforms that can make us easier to talk such as group chats like Whatsapp group. I would focus on creating spaces where people feel safe to share and listen. Rather than just giving instructions, I think it is important to build relationships where expectations flow naturally through trust and mutual respect. Supportive discussions and shared understanding between colleagues would guide how people communicate with each other. When people feel included and understood, communication becomes smoother, and the culture of the company grows stronger from within.

Miscommunication

Employee disengagement, uncertainty, and dissatisfaction brought on by poor communication within a corporation can seriously harm corporate culture. Employees may feel disoriented or unclear about their duties if leadership fails to give clear objectives and goals. This may result in errors, hold-ups, and a lack of self-assurance in their work. Furthermore, if employees do not feel safe approaching their superiors with questions, ideas, or concerns, it can lead to a schism between management and employees. As time goes on, this may lead to a breakdown in cooperation and trust, which would reduce the organization's overall effectiveness.

As a leader, to prevent miscommunication, I will make sure a clear and consistent communication at all levels should be a top priority for businesses in order to handle this problem. This includes holding frequent team meetings, sharing updates using digital tools, and ensuring that goals and expectations are well defined. I should also cultivate an open culture in which employees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and concerns without fear of being judged. Communication training and active listening can also help employees at all levels understand each other better. I believe companies that improve communication can create a more cohesive, productive, and positive working culture.

One of the issues I want to discuss is miscommunication. The lecture slides state that miscommunication exists among employees and between employees and the company regarding ideas, suggestions, concerns, expectations, and goals, which can lead to confusion. To manage this, I would prioritize promoting open and face-to-face communication. I suggest that for important matters, communicating in person or via phone call can be more effective than written communication, which can lead to misunderstandings. Furthermore, it's crucial to ensure clear and concise information sharing. Companies should clearly articulate their expectations and goals from leadership to all staff members. To enhance understanding, we should encourage questioning to confirm comprehension and gather further information. Practicing active listening, which involves paraphrasing to verify accuracy, can also significantly reduce misinterpretations.

Finally, providing regular feedback between managers and employees is also vital. It is important that employees who receive regular feedback reports higher job fulfillment, and organizations with managers who receive feedback on their strengths show greater profitability. This adherently help address misunderstandings promptly.

I encouraged my team to practice active listening and made it clear that asking questions was not only accepted but expected. To avoid confusion, I often followed up verbal discussions with written summaries and repeated key points when needed. I also facilitated communication training for team leads, focusing on clarity and emotional intelligence. Recognizing the diversity within the team, I was mindful of cultural and language differences and made adjustments accordingly. I regularly asked for feedback through check-ins and anonymous forms to identify any ongoing issues.

Miscommunication is one of the common challenges that can arise in a corporate culture. If it is not being handled properly, it can negatively affect the overall performance and quality of the organisation. Clear and effective communication between employees is important to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities and can perform their tasks efficiently. To address this issue, individuals in higher-ranking positions must take proactive measures to prevent miscommunication from escalating and causing further complications. One effective approach is to schedule regular meetings, where updates, concerns, and potential issues can be openly discussed and resolved in a timely manner. Additionally, fostering an open and inclusive communication environment can help build trust and encourage employees to express their ideas or concerns without hesitation.

The issue that I have selected is miscommunication. Miscommunication in a corporate culture occurs when employees do not communicate effectively with each other or feel uncomfortable approaching their supervisors with ideas or concerns. This issue is worsened when management fails to clearly explain expectations and goals, leaving employees confused about their roles and responsibilities.

To address this, I would first create a more open and supportive communication environment by encouraging regular team discussions and providing platforms for feedback. I would also implement clear guidelines and consistent updates from management to ensure everyone understands their tasks and the company’s goals. This helps build trust, clarity, and better collaboration across all levels.

Employees, especially the ones who joined as their first job, are mostly clueless about the team goal and afraid to voice their concern. As time passes by, each staff member can develop a strong bond and work well together.

This includes teaching them how to communicate clearly, make good decisions, and treat others with respect. Leaders should set a good example by living out the company’s values in their everyday actions. Regular feedback from both staff and supervisors can help them see where they need to improve. Pairing new or struggling leaders with experienced mentors can also build their skills and confidence. To manage this issue, I think it is important to have clear and regular communication in the company. For example, weekly meetings can help everyone stay updated and understand their tasks better.

Based on those issues mentioned, the most problematic issue for me personally is “miscommunication” as it happens in most company or organizations. One of the easiest ways to fix this communication issue is to well, talk to each other more openly and not hide things such as mixing work and emotions in your working area. As much as talking openly and being clear is important, it is important as well that we listen to each other. Being a leader of an organization, it is a must for them to be able to listen to their employees’ opinions. For those who are a little scared or embarrassed to talk to their bosses/employees when voicing their opinions, they can use different methods to communicate, such as emails, messages, leaving notes and more. In summary, the key to better communication is to make everyone feel comfortable to be able to voice out their opinions or suggestions.

For example, a department manager who gives inconsistent instructions to their team could be matched with a successful leader from another division who excels at clear communication. Through regular one on one sessions, the mentor would observe the manager's team meetings, provide immediate feedback, and share practical techniques for maintaining consistent messaging. The mentee might learn to document decisions and expectations in writing after each meeting and review these notes before addressing the team again. By focusing on practical skills through real time guidance rather than theoretical training, this approach creates immediate improvements in leadership consistency that employees can quickly recognize, helping restore trust and creating a more stable and productive work environment.

To manage miscommunication in an office environment, I would first create an open and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable communicating. I will arrange regular staff meetings, feedback sessions, and even casual check-ins will help communication more typical and less stressful. I would also make certain that expectations and goals are specifically outlined through visual prompts, summaries, or follow-up emails so that everyone understands what is required of them. I will also encourage active listening and leaving space for questions to reduce misunderstandings and allowing the team to work together more cohesively.

MISCOMMUNICATION

Poor communication at work can cause a lot of problems, like misunderstandings, wasted time, and frustrated employees. One of the best way to fix this is by creating an environment where people feel comfortable speaking up. Maybe have short meetings every week where everyone can share their ideas. No one should feel shy to speak. Second, always use simple, direct language instead of confusing jargon. Don't say difficult things like "maximize productivity" when we can just say "work faster". Clear words help everyone understand better. Finally, always check if others understand. After explaining something, just ask "Do you get it?" or "Any questions?" This small habit can stop many mistakes. When communication improves, everything runs more smoothly and people feel more connected at work. If we follow these steps, work will be easier and the team will be happier. Good communication makes everything better!

To solve this issue, it is important for them to have a positive and engaging environment. Having a culture of respect and teamwork among the employees does help them to improve their motivation. Other than that, it is important to recognize and reward their achievement. Their contribution should be acknowledge and should be rewarded formally and informally. Certainly, it helps the company to deal with uninterested and unmotivated employees.

A good leader should be able to lead discussions confidently and point out when someone has not completed their tasks. At the same time, the leader should be open to listening and accepting others’ opinions. I also believe a leader should not get involved in personal matters and must remain professional. Most importantly, even if the leader is strict, they should still be someone who others feel comfortable talking to and sharing ideas with. This helps build trust and a positive workplace culture.

Good leaders need clear guidelines about company values and expectations so they can properly guide their teams. Setting up monthly feedback sessions between managers and their supervisors helps identify leadership problems early before they affect the whole team.

I would also create a system where leaders are evaluated not just on business results but on how well they demonstrate company values and support their team members. When leaders model the behavior they expect from others and show respect to all employees, team members are more likely to trust them. Strong leadership builds employee confidence and makes them more willing to embrace the company culture rather than resist it.

Miscommunication is one of the issues of corporate culture. It is the key factor that degrades efficiency in work, inhibits growth, and destroys relationships among members of a company. To manage this issue, the company should adopt an effective system for communication. This system can be in the form of WhatsApp Community for small companies, or online application for big companies. Different departments can be subdivided in the system to ease smaller discussion. The system should be fully utilise which involves giving announcements, setting due dates, mentioning priorities and urgencies of works, conveying expectations and goals, as well as applying for leave. The use of online form will also be very helpful for different purposes. An appropriate example for this is the case where employees do not feel comfortable proposing suggestions, which may cause some good ideas and talented employee to be concealed. To overcome this, an anonymous online form can be created for feedbacks and suggestions. The employers should also be open in receiving these comments and ideas in the bid of improving the company to a higher height.

Miscommunication is a problem happen frequently, but in my opinion, is one of the easiest to solve. If I were the superior in this situation, I would first begin with isolating the parties from any further spread of misinformation or slander and get each side of the story. I would then allow the two parties to communicate with me as a witness and see how they interact with each other. This will be after I retrieve testimonies from other workers in their immediate and frequented environments. At the end, I provide both sides of the story and see if the parties can come to an understanding or if further effort is required to make amends. It is often a lack of clarity or clear reasoning that miscommunication occurs in the work place and it is the duty of the people in charge to ensure this does not happen so that the environment remains healthy and efficient.

If leaders are inconsistent or fail to demonstrate the values they promote, it can lead to confusion and frustration among employees. To manage this, I would ensure that leaders "walk the talk." This means they must consistently model behaviors that reflect the company’s values, such as respect, accountability, and teamwork.

I would start to manage corporate culture discrepancies by ensuring that the business values "make every detail stand out " are communicated to company employees in clear and consistent ways. Raising management's leadership abilities will include teaching them how to effectively support their teams and lead by example. However, I also intend to focus a lot of energy on employee engagement. One measure for this will be to provide ways workers can report any problems they experience in the workplace or receive praise when they do well. I would get moneys allocated to things like wellness campaigns and group training of employees in order to build a good culture. Lastly, I will maintain an inclusive, strong cultural atmosphere that is goal effective even at the cost of eradicating our culture entirely because it has been sidestepped. I make it a point to continually examine whether our policies match reality, adjusting them when necessary for this reason.

Based on the 5 issues discussed, I chose miscommunication. Here are a few steps that could help improve and prevent the issue. First of all, setting clear goals and roles helps everyone to understand what is expected of them. Next, encouraging open communication is essential as it is easy for employees to ask questions, listen carefully, and summarize discussions to ensure understanding. Utilizing various communication methods and following up, such as emails and meetings, allows everyone to engage with each other faster. Additionally, providing training on cultural differences in communication styles fosters a more inclusive environment where team members can work effectively together. Finally, consistently seeking feedback on communication practices enables organizations to continuously improve and adapt, leading to reduced miscommunication and stronger workplace relationships.

To fix this, I made sure communication methods were clear such as updates by email, quick chats on messaging apps, and shared documents for detailed info. I encouraged active listening, made it clear that asking questions was important, and often followed up with written summaries after meetings. I also provided communication training for team leaders, focusing on clarity and emotional understanding. I paid attention to cultural and language differences and adjusted my approach when needed. By regularly asking for feedback, I was able to create a clearer and more cooperative work environment.

One of the issues of organizational culture is leadership. Poor leadership will confuse staff members, especially if managers are inconsiderate, inconsistent, and lack clarity when giving directives. To remedy this issue, leadership training ought to be properly provided by organisations to ensure that leaders possess the right communication and management skills. Openness also needs to be encouraged so leaders can build respect and trust in their teams. Also, leaders must lead by example by exemplifying the values and behaviors that are indicative of the company culture. Lastly, having a regular feedback system will allow employees to voice their concerns and help leaders to improve, resulting in a more positive and productive workplace.

I noticed that a common problem in the workforce is the lack of investment in their corporate culture. Many companies advertise themself as so and so but don't actually live up to it. A typical example would be a company that claims to be "concerned and caring for the staff's wellbeing" but don't even take any action when the staff are struggling and asking for help. The company doesn't truly practise what they preach; it's all just for show.

Taking action and making results is what we want. Taking the example above, I would first find out what the staff were struggling with exactly and start from there. Even if I can't 100% solve the problem, I can still make a difference, no matter how small. What matters most is giving them the support they need (of course, you still have to put effort into it). When companies actually have the initiative to help, it creates trust between them and the staff. The staff will know that they can rely on the company and that the company isn't giving out empty promises but following through with them. They invest in what they promote themselves to be and take actions to achieve their goals. That would sow the seeds of a good corporate culture that honours their words.

This was just a simple example but it gives you the gist of it.

Even if significant changes are not possible, creating a space where employees can openly express their feelings allows leaders to justify the purpose behind certain cultural practices and explain how they benefit the entire team.

A visionary employer is someone who cares about the well-being of their employees. Employers should have strong leadership qualities so they can be a role model and guide for others in the company. Leadership in an employer is very important to drive and achieve the company’s vision and mission. If an employer shows good leadership, employees will be more likely to follow instructions and carry out their duties responsibly. As a result, when both employers and employees have leadership qualities, the company will be able to build a culture of mutual respect and openness to opinions in order to achieve success together.

Issues of Corporate Culture Implementation:

Implementation plays a major role in shaping corporate culture because it’s what turns ideas and values into actual behavior within an organization. It’s one thing for a company to say they value teamwork or innovation, but if that’s not reflected in how people work day-to-day, the culture falls apart.

To deal with poor implementation, companies need to first define the kind of culture they actually want. This means making sure it lines up with the company’s mission and values, and then setting clear expectations for how employees should interact with each other, with customers, and with other stakeholders.

One way to support this is by providing proper training and resources. These can help employees understand what the culture is supposed to look like and how to contribute to it. In the long run, this kind of support acts like a roadmap, guiding employees in how they should work and helping to build a stronger, more consistent organizational culture.

Often times, we could hear that some leaders that were entrusted by the higher ups is not very capable in handling the other workers. Some issues such as not being transparent enough or too prioritize on work efficiency rather than the welfare of the workers is more common than we think. There is actually a lot of ways for us to manage this issue. One of them being, the leader has to connect with the other workers. In other words, they must do bonding with the other workers in order to gain trust and make both party more transparent between each other. Other than that, the leader also must prioritize the feelings of other workers. We must pick leaders that is able to understand the emotions of other workers.

This issue happen when information is not interpreted correctly among the employees. This issue can negatively affect teamwork and productivity of the organization. It is crucial for companies to effectively manage miscommunication in the workplace. Firstly, companies should practice an open communication with their employees. This can make employees feel safe and comfortable to share their ideas and suggestions in order to maintain a succes organization. For example, companies encourage regular feedback from employees by use anonymous suggestion boxes. Next, companies can foster a two-way feedback with employees. This way can help companies to reduce miscommunication and build stronger bond in the workplace. Some of the employees may have fear to speak up for their opinions. With two-way feedback, employees can be more productive because they feel that their voices are heard and accepted. For instance, employers should regularly ask “Is anything okay?” or “Do you need help?” to their employees. Last but not least, companies should do regular team meetings. It is important to enhance icommunication and prevent misunderstandings in workplace. These meetings provide a suitable and safe place for employees to share updates, progress and clarify tasks to make sure they are all on the same page. For example, companies have meeting every two weeks to avoid confusion and keep work running smoothly.

From my perspective, employees who don’t see the point of the corporate culture can really disrupt the flow of a team. It’s not just about them not participating, it affects how everyone else interprets and experiences the culture too. I think that people who don’t try to align themselves with the shared values might come off as non-team players or uncooperative, even I'm sure that’s not their intention.

If I were to manage this issue, I would start by trying to understand why they feel disconnected in the first place. I believe that motivation isn’t something that can be forced. To me, it has to come from feeling seen, valued, and heard. Maybe they’re uninterested because no one’s ever asked for their input or explained why the culture matters which is a common thing to happen. I’d open up a space where they can express how they feel about their role and the work environment and then find ways to make the culture more relatable and inclusive.

At the same time, I’d highlight how each person contributes to the bigger picture. Sometimes people need to be reminded that their presence has value. All in all, everyone is different and I wouldn't shame them for that.

Issue : Leadership

Poor leadership can harm a company's culture. If bosses give unclear instructions, ignore rules or treat teams unfairly, employees feel confused and lose trust. For example, a manager who punishes staff for being late but himself arrives late creates resentment. To fix this, train leaders to communicate better and act as role models. Encourage bosses to talk openly with teams, listen to worries and explain goals clearly. Set rules to check if leaders are doing their job well, like asking employees for feedback. Pair new managers with experienced ones to teach them how to lead with respect. When leaders are strong and fair,, workers feel valued, work harder, and the company grows stronger.

Many employees always have an issue with their higher-up or among employee themselves. For me to deal with this issue, the higher-up must see the employee face-to-face or do a meeting between the worker to make an interaction between them. Other than that, the company can also held a company dinner or company holiday and encourage all workers to attend so that it can fill them with happiness and enjoyment. This can be a good example for a company to threat their employees and reduce the misscommunication thus have a positive vibe at work.

If they’re not happy or don’t feel appreciated, they won’t be motivated to give their best. This can lead to poor performance and even people quitting. A company can't really grow if the people working there don’t feel like they matter.

If it were up to me, I’d focus on making employees feel seen and heard. I'd make sure their hard work is noticed, give them chances to grow in their careers, and actually listen to their ideas. Regular check-ins and open conversations could really help build trust. When people feel like they’re part of something, they’re way more likely to stay and do their best.

At the end of the day, a company is only as strong as the people in it. Since a great boss may not always be a good leader, the leader must be able to establish safe places where staff members can express their opinions without worrying about reprisals. Then, as leadership affects the culture of the company, it needs to be evaluated on a regular basis using performance data, feedback, and strategy adaptation. Finally. Since culture is a top-down process, it is crucial to remember that the leader sets an example for the desired culture by their interactions and behavior.

I think miscommunication is the main problem especially in work setting but it is treatable. We must fix this first then we take a look on the other parts. This is because a little miscommunication or misconception may leads to poor decision making, damage to company reputation and it may increased conflict among employees which we cannot let these happen.

To prevent this issue, we have to build rapport between staffs themselves and between staffs and employer by promote open and transparent communication. Employer have to encourage employees to ask questions, share feedback, and voice concerns without fear and also employer needs to give the same energy to them by being open and clear in communication. When employer and employees already build rapport and gain trust from each other, they need to ensure all internal communication reflects the organization’s mission, values, and tone. This is very important when communication aligns with the organization’s mission and values, it constantly reminds employees ,why they do what they do'. When employees feel appreciated, they will be more willing to follow the company’s goals. Giving rewards, chances to learn new skills, and saying “thank you” for good work can help a lot. A friendly and respectful workplace also makes employees more active and happy to be part of a team.

Besides motivation, giving enough rest time is also very important. If employees work too long without breaks, they can get tired and stressed. This makes it harder for them to follow the company’s culture. Companies should give clear break times, like lunch breaks and off days. Small breaks during work can also help them stay fresh and focused. A company that cares about rest and health will have more loyal and happy employees.

4o

A leader’s job is to guide, train, motivate and track the progress of their team. Basically, a strong leader is the key to help the team succeed and keep the company on track.

To address this, my solution would be find a right leader. It’s not about choosing the most popular or experienced person, but someone who truly cares about the company and want its success. And what we can do is firstly watch the candidate action, a good leader doesn’t wait for instructions. Next, see how they interact with team members and last but not least are they open to feedback and ideas.

Miscommunication

While corporate culture is an important element for a company, it does have drawbacks or issues. One of the common issue can be seen on Miscommunications. In a company, communications play an important role between supervisors and employees, and also among the employees themselves. When working on a project, employees may not communicate well among themselves and may uncomfortable to voice out their concerns, ideas and suggestions to the supervisors. With this going on, the relationship among the employees and supervisors will be affected thus causing significant drop in company performance. Hence, miscommunication should be avoided and can be avoided by having meetings regularly to provide employees opportunities to voice out their opinions. Having teambuilding activities may also help in building trust and teamwork among employees as well as supervisors which in a way may improve the quality of communication and better working environment. A task board can be used to list out the ongoing task and important points or objectives in order to avoid confusion among employees about their projects and so on. Lastly, supervisors can get regular feedbacks from employees about their feelings towards the resource management or project management, and even issues among employees. These may help building strong relationship in the workplace and avoid miscommunication in a company.

Make sure the company’s leaders set a good example by living out the values in their everyday work.

Moreover, provide simple and easy-to-follow guidelines. To monitor progress, conduct regular check in through surveys, feedback sessions, or performance reviews to make sure everyone is staying on track. At the same time, it is important to celebrate successes and recognize employees who show the company values in their work, which can motivate others. Furthermore, choose certain people or teams to act as culture leaders who promote and support the company culture and quickly address any problems or gaps that appear. It’s also helpful to be open to feedback and willing to adjust the culture plan if needed, so it stays strong even as the company grows and changes.

By taking these steps and maintaining open communication, a company can build strong and positive culture that benefits both the business and its employees.

It’s one thing for a company to say they value teamwork or innovation, but if that’s not reflected in how people work day-to-day, the culture falls apart.

To deal with poor implementation, companies need to first define the kind of culture they actually want.

Corporate culture is a foundation for a company’s long-term growth, and leadership plays a critical role in shaping that culture. Issues that were addressed regularly is about leadership. A good leader influences not just individuals, but the entire environment such as promoting teamwork, fairness, and psychological safety. When leaders fail, it often results in burnout, poor communication, and high turnover. Even interns are not spared from the effects of poor leadership, often taking on workloads beyond their role just to “prove themselves.”

So, to overcome this issues I would focus on building a corporate culture that values mental health, fair workload distribution, and open communication. Leadership is about more than authority, it is also emphasising accountability, empathy, and creating a system where people want to give their best.

I think the most common issue in corporate culture is miscommunication. Especially when leaders and employees do not communicate well, it can lead to misunderstandings, mistakes, and confusion related to work and among team members. Misunderstandings can occur when employees do not share their ideas or thoughts clearly, and when leaders fail to convey or explain instructions properly.

To manage this issue, I would suggest two-way communication between leaders and employees, where both parties are encouraged to actively listen and express their ideas, concerns, and feedback. This ensures that leaders understand the challenges faced by employees, while employees are also clear on expectations and goals. For example, regular meetings and feedback sessions can help ensure that everyone understands their tasks.

Employees

I would begin the solution for dealing with unmotivated staff by focusing on employee engagement and clarifying their purpose within the organization. The employees require assistance to see how their daily tasks match up to the company's mission and organizational culture. To boost motivation the recognition of employee achievements combined with training prospects and supportive organizational frameworks needs regular implementation. To identify the reasons for the decreased motivation I would establish feedback collection methods through surveys or open forums. A few potential reasons for employee motivation problems include poor job alignment with skills and responsibilities as well as unclear department objectives and insufficient career advancement opportunities. The transformation of disengaged team members into active culture contributors can be achieved by resolving root causes and giving employees chances to express themselves and feel valued.

I chose leadership issues since this is the most important things in corporate that wasnt solved yet until now especially in malaysia. The leadership here is more about a boss and a slave. the higher ranking workers would be so highly of themselves and do whatever they want to lower ranking staff like forcing them to OT and threatening their job for something they are lacking . My way to manage this issues are by making sure the company should make a leadership programmes every year to ensure the connection between the staff would be much better and make the work faster and better. A good leader would share the struggle and find a way to solve any problem together. A good leader hear everyone idea and reflected it. another idea is to make sure no hierarchy control in the company . what i mean is that everyone just have to play their own role and standing on the same height with others. By doing this we can ensure that the connection between each staff would be much better . As a good leader one should be the best example to lead others. A leader should be able to speak for the staff, a good leader should be able to provide the good for the staff, a good leader share the struggle with the staffs so when they reach the top of the market everyone would share the joy.

For example, by encouraging Q&A sessions after meetings, or setting up an anonymous feedback section on a bulletin/information board. Although it seems cliché, this culture can help many parties, especially those who are hesitant to ask questions.

Leadership.

To solve the issue of leadership influencing corporate culture, I would begin by offering direct leadership training to enhance areas of communication, emotional intelligence, and decision-making. Leaders need to always demonstrate the values of the organization through their own actions since employees are more likely to be led by someone they respect. Fostering open and honest dialogue can create more robust leader-employee relationships, foster trust, and increase mutual understanding. I would also implement anonymous feedback channels so employees have a way to voice concerns, and use that feedback to shape leadership development. Finally, holding leaders accountable by regularly reviewing their performance helps maintain credibility and promotes a culture of responsibility and integrity within the organization.

It's common to work in teams when one in companies. Solving problems together, managing tasks and so on. However, miscommunication happen when one of the teams misinterpret the information or didn't tell other group members about the information. The suitable way to manage the issues is by keep the communication precise and clear. Most of the problem solved when the information given clearly without any confusing parts. For instance, tell the information without adding any other unnecessaries part. Besides that, asking when needed. If you don't understand, just ask. No one will berated a person for asking properly. Except if you ask the hot-temper one. Be careful. Many miscommunication can be cleared when you ask. Lastly, keep the companies informed and well. Higher-ups had to always provide more detailed guidelines and not just a general one. This could greatly help other employees to understand and comprehend the information properly. Communication works better if we communicate properly.
