Multitasking is doing more than one task at a time, it seems that is a nice way to get work done. But researchers found that multitasking has negative effects on our brain and body. Performing multiple tasks can expand your output and save time. On the other hand, it can lead to less concentration and cause wellbeing-related issues.

Multitasking can lead to uncreative output due to unfocusing on one task, shifting between more than one task at a time might result in missing details that are important. For instance, if you are doing your Science and math homework at the same time you might concentrate on the science homework more than the math homework that will cause missing answers. As a result, the output will be lower quality. This is why it is preferable to focus on completing one task at a time rather than doing many tasks at once.

Additionally, multitasking can lack the ability to focus. For example, if you are switching between English and Arabic project, you will be used to switch between two projects or more that will make you distracted by the smallest things and can't focus on what you are doing. That will result in having short-term memory. As well, multitasking can increase a person's stress, and they will face a hard time doing their job. For instance, if you were stressed and you have an exam tomorrow you will not focus on studying you will think negatively since you are stressed.

According to my opinion, doing tasks once at a time is better than multitasking, to prevent health-related issues and focus on one task without stress and disturbance. Multitasking is ineffective because the brain cannot divide its attention to juggle multiple tasks.

The concept of multitasking has been going around since ages, which is known for performing more than one task at a once, or switching between tasks rapidly and getting back to the same tasks again in a very short time, is multitasking a myth that we have been fooled with or it does really exist and we can perform it?

Multitasking have been the move lately and a hot topic with all of the conflicting opinions, there has been lots of researches released that multitasking is just a tale and such a thing is not possible, unless you are one in million, According to research summarized by the American Psychological Association, shifting between tasks can cost you up to 40% of productive time. You may feel like you’re getting more done, but you probably aren’t. Which is basically meant that we fool ourselves that we are 100% done with our task. For Instance doing your homework and being immersed in your own thoughts, you’d believe that you got through the point where you are fully assured of our result while we were just lost in thoughts. Which is also a prove that we are getting less effective.

In many perspectives multitasking seems to be the perfect deal you are going to shift between tasks fast and get things done faster and effectively. For example: Taking notes during a lecture or Reading a book while eating a meal. Not only humans could multitask, living organisms such as animals could multitask. Both of us have two hemispheres but what is different is that animals hemispheres are specialized in some way. As they watch out for predators and eat. Like deers they’d be eating while their ears are focusing on sounds from different directions.

You could multitask only with tasks that doesn’t require lots of efforts, instead of multitasking try to list your tasks according to your priorities and focus on one task at time, break down big goals into smaller ones and don’t forget to give your self small breaks.

Multitasking means doing two tasks at the same time, it has several negative effects on the brain. For instance, switching from one thing to another would distract your brain making it feel tired more quickly than doing one task at a time, it can be stressful and consume more energy than doing one task at a time. People believe that they can finish faster, but they consume more time and brainpower while shifting between tasks than prioritizing your tasks and finishing them one at a time at a good speed.

Multitasking is not entirely impossible you can multitask in things you already do automatically on a daily basis like walking and texting, or talking and washing your hand, ways to decrease multitasking are to organize your task and finish them referring to the most important task to a least important task, another thing you can do is stop distracting yourself when you do that you might think you're multitasking but you're wasting your time and distracting your brain, one last thing that can help in getting rid of multitasking is an environment where you can be focused only on your work,

In my opinion, multitasking is only stressing your brain you should work smarter not harder. Sometimes you might need to stress yourself to reach the deadline or finish in time, but you shouldn’t get used to it, it will discourage you to work as it will become more stressful in the future.

People who do not multitask are becoming increasingly rare. The ability to multitask has been ingrained in our culture. What exactly is multitasking, and why has it become a common practice in the workplace? Doing numerous tasks at once is known as multitasking. As a result, you'll be able to complete more tasks in less time. This can be quite useful, especially with the rising amount of work that needs to be done. Furthermore, the ability to efficiently multitask would appeal to a potential employer because a person could do a large number of tasks in a short amount of time.Multitasking appears to be a clear advantage in this context, but it is not. Multitasking can improve the quantity of outputs and save time, but it can also lower the quality of outputs and lead to health issues.

Doing many tasks at the same time is referred to as multitasking. As a result, it may be able to assist people with time management. Instead of doing nothing but waiting for the washing machine to finish washing the clothing, one can cook food or clean the house while waiting for it to finish. As a result, more jobs can be completed in a shorter period of time.

Multitasking can also help to keep a person busy. This appeals to people who are impatient. When waiting for an email, for example, one can navigate to another website and kill time there. This makes it easier for the person to maintain their patience. It may also help the person in being more quick-witted.

Finally, multitasking can assist us in increasing the quantity of our outputs in a short amount of time. We can do a large number of tasks in a short amount of time because we are working on numerous projects at the same time.

Multitasking is the ability to manage many tasks at the same time by concentrating on one task while keeping track of the others. Multitasking allows you to perform multiple tasks at the same time, which saves your time. For example, Speaking to customers over the phone while entering data into the computer system. Some people, on the other hand, appear to believe that, multitasking is a terrible habit that can badly affect our life.

Multitasking splits our concentration, making it difficult to commit all of your concentration to one task, causing you to do your work in an ineffective and wrong method. For example, Responding to emails while listening to a podcast, Disturbing your concentration influences the ability to understand since you must be willing to concentrate to gain knowledge.

Multitasking has a negative impact on brain. Our brains are unable to do many tasks at once. It may appear that you are accomplishing multiple tasks at once, but what you are doing is rapidly shifting your attention and focus from one task to another. Switching from one work to another might make it harder to shut out distractions and produce mental blocks, causing you to lose energy.

From my point of view doing multiple tasks at the same time, is more stressful and less productive.
