The author of the first source is Crusader Raymond d'Aguiliers (1099). The author of the second source is Ibn al-Athir (thirteenth century). 

2. I think that the writers wrote about these events for the purpose of saying their version of history because they had the perspective of themselves being the victims and wanted the world to know what happened to their people.

3. Since the first writer is a crusader, he described the events as seeing dead people all over the city streets and even more importantly at the temple of Solomon, implying that something bad happened there to the crusaders. The second writer being Muslim wrote that many Muslim scholars and Imams had been killed. The franks invaded the dome of the Rock and refugees from Syria reached Bahgdad and told everyone the tragic story of what happened.

4. These accounts are different because each person wrote about their people from their religion as being the victims in this situation. 2) I think that the first author wrote about the event to retell the stories about the crusade, but mainly showing the crusaders as not bad people while the second author wrote the text showing crusaders as bad people who went around killing people

3) The crusader writes the story in a way that shows the event tragic for the crusaders, and almost shows the Muslims as the bad people in the story, whereas the second excerpt explicitly says that the crusaders killed many innocent people.

2. I think the authors wrote about this event to inform the reader about what happened from both perspectives.
3. Both of the writers have a different perspective on what happened. The first text focuses on the after result and explains all the death and blood, while the second text focuses on what was happening during the event, like what the crusader took from the Dome of Rock.

2) The first account was written to tell the audience how much blood was shed, how people were killed during the fall of Jerusalem. 
The second account was written to inform how the Muslims were affected when Jerusalem was taken.

3) The writer of the first account was a Crusader, so his perspective was more on how other people were killed, and his description is more dark when he says that "If I tell the truth, it will exceed your powers of belief." 
The writer in the second account was from a Muslim perspective, he described how the Muslim Imams and scholars were killed,  how the Dome of the Rock and other things in the temple mount was stripped. 

4) Both of these accounts talk about death of many people. The first account describes more on the intensity of the death.While, in the second account it is also mentioned how other things in the Temple Mount were also destroyed. The second account also talked about Refugees from Syria.

2) I think the crusader wrote about these events because they wanted to tell people their version of the story's and they each tried to make the people from other religion sound worse than they were in their paragraphs.

3) The first writers perspective is that he was in the city and he was actually there when these events took place he focused on what happened after and he made it so the temple of Solomon was a more impactful thing than the people dead on the streets. Secondly the second authors perspective was that hes writing about how many Muslim's died and how they looted a lot. He focused on the crusaders killing Muslim's and Imams.

4) They are similar because they are both talking about how people died. But they are different because it is two different perspectives from two different authors and also they wrote these excerpts at different times.
