      <description>Ted Boesky has acquired extensive teaching experience over the past 20 years. As a social studies teacher at the Wagner Middle School, he delivered engaging history lessons to seventh and eighth graders. Ted Boesky also provided mentorship to student teachers participating in the SUNY Urban Teacher Education Program.

In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Boesky encouraged student discourse in the classroom, tackling various historical topics. He also supported his students in developing critical and creative thinking skills and led the Wagner Middle School debate club, where he helped students gain a better understanding of current events.

A member of the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), Mr. Boesky earned the Xavier High School Ignatian Educator Award for teaching excellence in 2019. He studied history as an undergraduate student at Manhattanville College and went on to earn a master’s degree in the field from Columbia University. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and soccer.
