Critics feel that she seems to be uncomfortable holding him and is being judged for it on a global level. She is being 'mom shamed' for not holding him in what people would consider normal. Some twitter users comment that she has no maternal instinct in her body, and that she "cant hold the poor thing."

Many were also waiting for the news of who the child's godparents will be, but his parents have decided to keep that private. Archie is only 2 months old at this point and has had more done in his honour than most of us have had in our whole lives. A yellow chrysanthemum flower has been named 'Archie Harrison' by the Royal Horticulture Society. They had been planning this unveiling at the Society's Malvern Spring Festival since Meghan's pregnancy was announced in October. Martyn Flint is the manager of Chrysanthemums Direct and states that they look forward to seeing these flowers grow just as Archie will too. Some are a little out there but one actually has some ground to stand on. One of the theories was that Meghan was not actually pregnant, but was wearing a prosthetic while a surrogate carried the child. The most interesting conspiracy that actually has reasoning to back it up is the age of Baby Sussex. During the photo op at 2 days old, the royal couple participated in a short interview where Harry had mentioned that Archie has changed so much the last 2 weeks. This could have just been a slip up by saying weeks instead of days, but others claim his birth being the end of April makes more sense based on timelines. Also, an ambulance and emergency helicopter were seen near the couples residence in late April and the Queen visited the the couple's residence in late April. People are assuming she might have been visiting her grandson who was born earlier than we are being told (YouTube, 2019).
