Construct a container to keep a chilled can of coke cold for as long as possible without using ice.

b)    Research and suggest 1 additional suitable material.

c)     Sketch a labelled design showing how the materials will be assembled around the can.

d)    The design should allow for the top of the can to be easily exposed for its temperature to be taken.

e)    Briefly describe how each material would be used to keep the can cold, using concepts from Thermal Processes.

Post all above discussions on Padlet according to group.

·       PLDs will be required for this project.

·       A maximum of 4 materials are allowed for the experiment.

·       3 standard materials are provided for each group:

o   1 sheet of aluminum foil (0.5 m)

o   500 cm³ of cotton wool

o   1 big sheet of newspapers

·       1 additional material to be proposed and brought by individual group.

·       Tape will be provided to hold the materials together, subject to the proposed design.
