  • He seems to have a very slow and powerful gesture because the author compared him to a bear and described his hands as huge paws.
  • Scary look On page 98 Lennie went to the pool and the snake and the heron fled from him.
  • He seems to be attracted by texture. For example, he really likes to pet animals, or he wanted to  touch the dress of this girl in Weed.
  • He is disinterested. He wants to help a maximum on the ranch without expecting something in return. Just wants to show that he can be useful.
  • Prejudice of others doesn't seem to affect him. For example, he wanted to engage in conversation with Crooks even if he is a person of color and the other guys don’t respect him like an equal.

  • He reveals details about his past thoughtfully. When he talks about him and Lennie to the old man or to Slim, he always plays cards. It’s like he was carefully playing his cards about their past or Lennie intellectual disability so they don’t know too much about them.
  • He is protective of Lennie because he is always on the defensive when people ask questions about him. For example, when Curley wanted to make fun of Lennnie or obligate him to talk, George defended him.
  • He is worrying about the catastrophes that could cause Lennie. He is always thinking about what could go wrong with him (ex. going into a fight with Curley)
