I see conceptual art as an art form, one that allows the artist to express himself better. Some artists may see it as a label that can limit their own development. But I think there are times when having a label can also allow the audience to understand your work better. Sometimes the viewer is not sure what the artist is trying to say when they see the work, whereas conceptual art is a little more difficult to understand, as conceptual art usually doesn't care what materials are used, they are more concerned with expressing their own ideas and thoughts.
I think it is a good art form and the materials should be varied. Different materials are used to make the work different. And an important part of conceptual art is the free use of materials, such as plastic cans and bottle caps, rather than just traditional art materials such as oil and watercolour.

I think art has come a long way, and some people are still used to accepting it as it was a hundred years ago. The nature of art has changed since Duchamp, and concepts such as 'ideas' are still not an important part of how people think about art. The 'conceptual look' is presented using clear thinking. Any form or medium that allows the artist to present a concept or point of view can be discussed in the context of conceptual art, but for the concept of art to be established, the response of the viewer must be added. In other words
In other words, conceptual art must be able to attract the attention of the viewer and keep the viewer at least mentally engaged.

I think artistic innovation is beneficial to the development of art. There should be different artistic concepts in different periods. The proposal of conceptual art has innovated the source and method of art, and made people pay more attention to art in life. Concept art breaks the limitation and complexity of traditional art. It combines two or more different things to form a collision, which is the formation of innovative consciousness. As the saying goes: everything is difficult at the beginning, and the innovation of art history must be broken by the pioneers. Even if art is criticized or attacked, you must stick to your own ideas. Art innovation makes art elements more diversified, and art inspiration and forms are more open, which greatly promotes the development history of art. This is extremely important for art. Compared with the conception of conceptual art, art fully embodies culture, politics and language, and conceptual art transitions to a new field of future art. At the same time, it has laid a good foundation for post-modern art. It makes the artistic expression more concrete and vivid, rather than a single abstraction.

I think the modern art environment has undergone tremendous changes. It seems that art forms and fixed media are no longer important. The value of art lies in its perfect form of expression. Therefore, contemporary art is a competition of ideas. When given to any suitable medium, the author can convey his own concept. When Duchamp's "ready-made" art appeared, it was more unconstrained by the medium, and the concept was more emphasized. Artists began to "art for art's sake". , what I want to explore more seems to be the meaning that exists deeply behind it, and even opposes the specific meaning of a certain medium. At the same time, art can ignore the shackles of social morality, so artists need to constantly polish the concept of works in the category of art , and to face judges from professionals and non-professionals alike. In general, as long as you have the desire to express, you only need to choose the form you want. Any form has its own existence value. What matters is not the art but the people behind the art. It can be exploration, reflection, Vision or memories, maybe this is concept art.

The current modern art environment has undergone many changes. I think artistic innovation is very beneficial to the development of art. The renewal and development of the times affects the generation of artistic concepts, and drives the development of many new artistic techniques and concepts. When traditional art is broken, it is bound to suffer a lot of criticism, just like Duchamp did at the beginning. But even when criticized, you have to stick to your ideas. The innovation of art naturally brings a lot of new artistic elements, making art more full, more specific and vivid. For artists, the label of art may be limited in development. For me, the label may help us understand the concept of the artist. Concept art is a good form of expression, they are innovative, not based on traditional materials and forms of expression, they are characterized by the use of different media and supports, as well as a variety of everyday materials and ready-made objects.

For me, Art is essentially a communication behaviour of certain concepts or deep thoughts. There are various forms of difference in modern art, which is the difference between concept and concept. Since Cézanne, Duchamp's specific artistic creation practice has made a work of art fundamentally the artist's thought, not a tangible object, so in fact, the concept replaces the object, and art gets rid of the material. There are various forms of expression of modern art, and labels cannot be used to characterize the works of artists. Using labels to recognize works and artists have one-sided cognition. Only by understanding the historical background of the artist's life and the events he experienced, and analyzing the practice process and results of his creation can we fully understand and interpret the artist's works.

My point is that I think conceptual art is a kind of art that can be separated from art, what the artist produces, concept and art are two different words they are two separate words together and conceptual art means something else. Duchamp is one of my favorite artists, his work is very conceptual, his work is to let people know his ideas like the most frequent things in people's lives or things that are very common as long as you can give him a different definition or concept to make the audience think about what has been discussed and that is conceptual art. I think the definition of conceptual art is that anything can be called art, as long as you have good reason and good language or logic. The commonest thing is art.

Conceptualism is often used as a negative term for contemporary art, and people don't like to think around concepts.

Through these 5 images, I can find concept artists using appropriate materials and forms to convey their ideas. This leads to everyday objects in every work of art that can look like almost anything.

Concept art began when Marcel Duchamp bought a famous urinal from a plumber's shop, but the jury found it immoral and deemed it art. So from Duchamp his questioning and criticism of art led to the development of conceptual art.

Frank Stella produced black paintings that marked a rupture between modernist and anti-modernist practices. This series of works will lead to the emergence of minimalism and conceptual art.

Joseph Kossus proposed that "the real work of art is thought

His work -- four colors and four words -- proves that the "art" component does not exist in the object itself, but in the idea of the work.

Barbara Krueger gets us thinking about social and political issues, stereotypes and the cliches our society creates.

When an artist uses a conceptual art form, it means that all planning and arrangements have been made in advance. In conceptual art, the process behind the work is more important than the finished artwork.

With the change of time, the concept of contemporary art has also changed, and new styles and ways have appeared in the mass society.

Conceptual art challenges the traditional attributes of art being unique, collectible and saleable. Since conceptual art works are separated from traditional art forms, they require the audience to give more feedback. It can even be said that only when the audience is spiritually involved can a conceptual art work truly be established.

Conceptual art works can take any form: everyday objects, photographs, maps, videos, diagrams, even words themselves, and often a combination of many forms. For me, conceptual art is a new way of thinking that is very worth learning. Duchamp's work, in particular, is thought-provoking.

Art in the 20th century has always been highly regarded and respected in society. In questioning them, conceptual art also questions some of the fundamental values of our society and culture.
