I think that the main reason these kinds of violations occur is two fold. First, many students are constantly seeking for ways to make their assignments easier or find the answers they need more efficiently. Second, there is a plethora of such information for any college course one can think of available on sites like Quizlet, Course Hero, Chegg, the list goes on. Students are drawn to these sites because it makes their work easier and as it becomes more and more popular, people are figuring out ways to get around the information-blocking paywalls of these sites.

This is a tricky question. Websites have continually tried to stop this by adding paywalls to their sites, making the sites membership based, showing questions but blocking answers, and plenty more strategies. However, tech savvy students are continually finding ways to get around these information blocks. In my opinion, this is nonsensical as students often spend more time trying to get around information blocks than it would take them to ethically do the assignment, but this is still a very real issue. For the time being, I think that the strategies these websites are employing is useful as most students do not try all that hard to get around the blocks, but for those who do try I think the solution to stop them is much more complicated.
