The Great Wall of China was built to keep out invaders from the North. Around the 220 B.C.E, Qin Shi Huang also named the first emperor united China. He brought together the existing walls into one. The reason why this is important to Chinese culture is because it is believed to keep the Chinese citizens safe.

It felt bitterly cold, my hands were like Popsicle's. The Terracotta warriors were statues and they were discovered completely by accident. By digging a well and a farmer uncovered pieces of pottery which led to finding a life size Terracotta soldiers. There were about 6,000 soldiers buried.

Today i´m excited to visit the Taj Mahal in India. The Taj Mahal was created for his wife and the structure also shows that the empire was wealthy and rich. The structure took 20,000 people to build it to its final form. The structure has a marble dome and 4 martinets and the structure also includes a guest house and a mosque. Outside of the structure there are gardens and big pools. The Taj Mahal is located in the city of Agra. The reason why it is important is because it shows that India was trading with the Byzantine Empire and the Byzantine invented domes.
