Noting down each shot was not difficult as we made sure to watch the sequence repeatedly to ensure that we did not forget any. It was also helpful that the submarine title sequence has a lot of clear jump cuts that help to establish each shot individually. At first, the storyboard was missing a few shots but then we went back over it shot for shot whilst comparing it to the sequence and filled in the gaps.

We were quite limited in our choice of locations because it differed greatly from the film, which is set in rural Wales. Instead of trying to create shots that looked exactly the same, which would have been close to impossible, we tried to get shots that would create the same feel as those in the original sequence. In the Submarine sequence, the main piece of costume is a black duffel coat. To emulate this we used a black rain mac to give the same effect.

Creating the title credits was not particularly difficult as the first few were not overlayed over the moving image. The font used was easy to find and this helped us to make the title credits easily. The objective with the creation of the title sequence was to have them be as similar to the Submarine sequence as possible, we continuously referred back the original sequence to make sure that the titles were the same.

I think that if I was to create this title sequence again, I would look around my location better to find areas to film in that were a lot more similar to those in the film. I would also use a different person to do the voiceover so that it sounds more natural. This would probably help the sound at the beginning sync up better with the rest of the sequence and make it sound more cohesive.
