1. People who perform on idol tv know that they can win or lose, and if they lose, it teaches them as well as viewers to not avenge the winner. Songs are sung and dances are performed, which spread different varieties of language and movements unique to a specific area. People all around the specific area gather around to watch these shows and are heavily influenced by them as well as integrating those ideas into their language and daily lives.
2. It is interesting how viewers are able to view different ideas from other perspectives and be influenced by ideas in ways they probably didn't think of before.

On Slow TV it's real life, live thing that are happening and they push people (Norwegians) to open their mind and basically create their own stories on what they watch. It keeps them engaged in the show
2. I honestly thought it was really interesting. I sat there and watched the train for 2 minutes and I was hooked into watching it. It was a cool TedTalk, very different from TV in the states

Cosplaying is part a this big population of people who have passion for the world of anything or anyone based around anything from comic books to live action TV. It give people something to express yourselves by being what ever they want to be.
2. I too have always had this fascination for the unknown and all things magical. My thoughts on cosplaying is that it give you a place to be unique yet not be judge for not dressing appropriate to modern standers on dressing. I think the Video fit perfect with what cosplaying represent.

1) Culture shapes our society in relation to this video because these glimpses at celebrities which are fake are made to be a comment on our culture and how we can't tell what is real when looking at it. Photography and media sharing has gotten so advanced that anyone can make fake images of prominent figures in society to get attention and reactions from others. It has gotten to the point where people in society actually believe these pictures for years to come, like how people thought the queen actually went to a popular store in the city. Finally, people have also been using these fake images of celebrities for advertisement to get money and recognition in society.

2) I am honestly not a fan of this one. I have never been someone who stalks the lives of celebrities and think that they should mostly be left alone. I feel like if these fake images were made about me I would definitely get upset. It is cool how she was able to make these pictures so real, but I don't like how they are being used.

People can use the sharing of these secrets to express funny things they do that go unnoticed or to talk about personal issues without judgement. Culture makes people feel the need to share these anonymously to others and their secrets are then read and influence daily life, like how it led to people finding old pictures of themselves or even a marriage.

2) This TED Talk was really good. I found the voicemail at the end to be very moving, as well as the marriage proposal.

1) Cosplay gives people the chance to express themselves through their clothing. They can represent something that they love.
2) I think it's interesting to see how people dress up as different things to show their love for something. I didn't know much about cosplay before watching the video. I feel like people judge people who do cosplay without really knowing what it is.

1) Viral videos shape our culture because the videos come from different people in society that influence everyone else. Taste makers help influence what videos go viral by sharing how they feel about the video.
2) I thought it was interesting to see how videos go viral and to see how taste makers can make something go viral so easily.

1) This video shows how people are so easily influenced by the media. Most people will believe whatever they read, especially when it comes to famous people. People make up lies and start rumors just to get people upset or to make money.
2) I think it's annoying that people make up lies about people just because they are famous. Those people have lives and feelings. It's interesting that they can edit things like that but it isn't being used for the right things.

1) Secrets can be about anything and have different forms. They help people connect. Everyone has a secret, big or small.
2) I think having secrets is something really normal. Sometimes people want to keep things to themselves or only share it with certain people and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Its a show that has no action so you have to use your imagination.
2) The video was interesting but I don't think slow tv is interesting. I think it would be really boring to watch.

1) This video shows how things can be fake and still influence people. It shows how much people follow the media and that people are effected by it. It shows how much people judge people.
2) I don't like how much people focus on the media and how much they let it be apart of their lives. People believe whatever they see or read. But it was cool to see how the fake pictures can be made to took real.
