However, research shows that as the emotional and moral climate of the world continues to change, leadership models must also adapt and change as well. Unfortunately, many leaders are following old practices of leading in an unethical, immoral, inhumane way that produces difficult results. There are signs of hope on the horizon when looking toward adapting a new model of leadership, which is biblical leadership. Biblical leadership principles are found within ministry organizations that focus on leading from an ethical, empathetic, honest, transparent, and accepting place. The literature review will examine what spiritual beliefs are, a leadership framework within a ministry or secular organization, and the dynamics of spiritual leadership. Upon building upon the literature review, the research will examine what is currently happen within biblical leadership practices and will result in the development of a newly updated leadership model that is focused on biblical practices.

Without a spiritually energized leadership model the greed, darkness, dishonesty, and unfairness will continue to dominate ministries and organizations. Most of the available literature was based on findings from trailblazers creating methods decades past. There are very few, or if none, current leadership models that are being widely distributed focusing on a leadership method that was developed using biblical principles. Ministry Organization - Global Christian non-denomination faith based organization that follows biblical truths.
Secular Organization - Global organization comprised of individuals where religion or spirituality are neutral and not topical.
