Responsibilities are having a duty or job as a person. In civics, responsibility is the roles as a citizen. This is an important concept of Civics because it deals with the roles that a person has in life. It is one of the main concepts in civics an we use them everyday. We learned about responsibilities in assignment 5.1: Citizens Rights and Responsibilities. "The most important responsibility to me is public service. This right is the most important because it is where Americans go into the military to help and serve our country. This responsibility is the most important to me because we need the military forces to defend our country for the safety of Americans. It is also important because without the military or the Americans fighting for us, we would not be where we are today. So many wars have happened and we needed the militaries strength to fight or succeed. This responsibility is also a way for citizens to fight for something they believe in, actually fight for their beliefs and their country.
